Is George Clooney ready to wed again? Or not?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
True or not, the Internet gossip mill is churning today about whether George Clooney is finally ready to wed again.
Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor (he’s been unwed since 1993) is supposedly eyeing girlfriend Sarah Larson.
The gossip bloggers already have them engaged, led by the charge of Marie Claire magazine, which has been detailing information gathered in a restaurant in Laglio, Italy, where Clooney has a villa. But one Clooney representative has reportedly denied the whole marriage thing to US Weekly.
I have met George three times — the last one being on Oscar’s red carpet this year. Guess who was with him? Yes, it was Larson and she looked incredible.
And I can say this: Clooney is as friendly, gracious, intelligent and charming in person as you would expect him to be.
What does Sarah Larson have that you don’t have (besides George Clooney)? Would you be sad to see him off the market? Or happy that after some 15 years he’s finally found someone?

I’d lost a bet on whether he’d marry again…..and if it’d be a dude.

I am a big George Clooney fan. Not only is he a good actor, he is incredibly handsome. I do not agree with his current choice for a mate, however. This man is a multi-millionaire, all of his homes are paid for, and he is highly successful. Miss Larson, his current girlfriend, he met while she was a cocktail waitress (please). In my opinion he could do a lot better. He could find someone better looking and who is educated and has actually gone to college and become successful. She’s cute, but she is not drop-dead gorgeous like other women he could be going out with. My advice to George: Do better sweetie, and call the entertainment news when you have a real woman on your arm.

Ohhhhhhh NO!
George is toooo fine to get married. I thought this debonaire, sexy, charming, gorgeous, man would stay that way for at least 20 more years.
He is GREAT EYE CANDY!

Chardonnay - I think she is the best choice for him. If we have to see him with someone - I would rather it be some one bland, that just ooozes into the background.
No need to have two superstars clashing for tv face time.
Besides - with plain jane - he stands out more!
Maybe he is looking for plain and simple after dating those crazy “Paris” wanna be - fake Hollywood Divas.

I agree with Ms. Larson’s appearance. My very first impression of her was: BLAH! Unattractive gold-digger…the worst. She better enjoy her moment in the spotlight. She won’t be there long. I hope she’s not forgetting how to serve up drinks and manipulate drunk men!

I am sorry - there is no woman more “real” than a waitress. Education, appearance = blah blah blah it is what is on the inside that counts.

Jealous much people? If that girl is bland, give me bland. Let’s see pictures of ya’ll!
Haha, yeah, that’s what I thought.

I think it is rather insulting to Mr Clooney to suggest he does not know his own mind and heart. To say that a human being isn’t worth the love of another human being based on some concept of “couture” is extraordinarily urbane. And it ingore humanity.
People mate themselves on a permanent basis to other people based on their personal perception of happiness.
Who are we, as outsiders, to say what makes Mr Clooney or Ms Larson happy?
You who criticize Ms Larson’s roots and appearance only appear petty and jealous.

It’s a good thing he doesn’t need your approval to marry whomever he pleases.

Nothing against Clooney, but nothing about him is cute. At best, he’s a plain, bland aging dude. At worst, he’s a dentally challenged yuck mouth with horrible crow’s feet. All the attractive men out there, and you guys hone in on one of the homeliest ones. He’ll do good to get whomever he can. But like so many men, he’ll likely keep stalling and stalling, getting older and uglier until nobody wants to marry him except an 18-year-old gold digger who’ll hire someone to spoon-feed him, while she sleeps around with young men who are still virile … then leave him broke and embarrased.

If you want the insider details on this, go to monsterfresh.com. Not only do the people there know Ms. Larson- they have some great dirt on their relationship. Anyways, it’s just fun to waste time on celebrity gossip- which they have in spades

Who cares? I have more important issues to care about, not if and when George marrys. That’s none of my concern.
And as long as the man is happy, who cares what the lady looks like. She obviously does something for him.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I too think he is homosexual, but as you know, he can’t be honest in his business because he could lose millions over something that no one even cares about.

I seriously doubt anyone who has commented on Ms. Larson’s appearance is jealous. Merely making an observation and opinion. Of course, Mr. Clooney is allowed to marry anyone whom he chooses…we all are unless we’re already related. That was an unenlightening comment. I think “Is it just me” hit a funny nail on the head regarding the spoon-feeding hiring gold-digger for her ugly ancient husband. I’m still laughing at the vision of these pitiful aging men.

Of course it was unenlightening, dear, because it’s so obvious to everyone how petty and jealous the critics sound.

I have been in L-O-V-E with George for 20 years! He does have a right to be happy. If Ms. Larson is not on the path to gold digging, she would willingly sign a prenup - if as intelligent as I would like to hope she is, she would realize this would be a part of the deal so to speak - if she were in the same financial position, she would expect the same as any one would…if she does put up a fuss…well…’methinks thou doest protest too much’ and would make me wonder her motive !

Hollywood stars marry and divorce like they change underware. I have not been impressed for a long long time. Their politicial views are even worse. Does anyone other then me get tired about hearing this stuff?
