Back off ‘Cloverfield,’ it’s ‘The Giant Claw’

Here people go again, getting all hyped about “Cloverfield” and its terrifying monster destroying New York City. I’ve even heard of multiple cases of patrons vomiting in theaters due to the shaky-cam cinematography.
But can modern mayhem compare to 1957’s ultimate monsterific villain “The Giant Claw”?
I think not. Watch and learn.
