Golden Globes Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Hollywood
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Well, that small group of foreign journalists in Hollywood almost got its awards right.
The Helen Mirren Awards … and let’s be honest here, while you may call them the Golden Globes, I’ll refer to them by what they really were tonight because nobody has so commanded these honors since a guy named Jamie Foxx grabbed a show-stopping best movie actor trophy a couple of years ago for “Ray.”
So, the Helen Mirren Awards did bestow a twofer on the actress as Queen Elizabeth I on TV and Queen Elizabeth II on the big screen, but the Hollywood Foreign Press Association also named the paltry, globe-trotting, we-are-the-world “Babel” as best dramatic motion picture.
That’s so Hollywood. Celebrities patting themselves on the back for their humanity while underneath ultimately trying to sucker everybody into buying a movie ticket to see the great and powerful Brad Pitt stomp his foot in a bad case of puffy acting.
Yes, in his acceptance speech director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu paid homage to his fellow Mexican directors Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro. But Inarritu needs to understand - his “Babel” isn’t half the film of Cuaron’s “Children of Men” or, especially, del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth.”
But these Golden Globes did get so much right:
1. Mirren as best drama movie actress for “The Queen.” It’s her awards season. Like Foxx, she should coast to the Oscars and win big. She also won the TV acting award for “Elizabeth I.”
2. Forest Whitaker as best drama movie actor for “The Last King of Scotland.” After all the old-hat grandstanding of Warren and Clint and Jack and Tom (as in Hanks), it’s nice to see somebody emotionally overwhelmed by a big awards show moment. (By the way, no, I don’t know what gutter the disheveled Philip Seymour Hoffman crawled out of to come on stage and announce the award.)
3. Jennifer Hudson and Eddie Murphy as best movie supporting actress and supporting actor for “Dreamgirls.” They are easily the two best aspects of a fun, if irregular, film musical. “Dreamgirls” also won best comedy/musical movie. (Note to Jay-Z: it might be considered good form to at least look at Beyonce every now and then when you’re out together.)
4. Sacha Baron Cohen as best comedy/musical actor for “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.” His acceptance speech was hilariously disrespectful, referring to the film’s nude wrestling bout with his 300-pound male co-star. He talked of body orifices and small air pockets … and we’ll say no more now or we’ll get into trouble.
5. Martin Scorsese as best movie director for “The Departed.” The film’s not nearly as good as Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” or “Raging Bull” or even “Casino,” but it’s finally his year. A seven-time Oscar loser, his chances are looking very good for the Academy Awards.
6. “Ugly Betty” as best TV comedy series and America Ferrera as TV comedy actress. It’s all real nice and sweet and the show is good and she’s good … but … doesn’t it seem a bit strange that all the beautiful people in Hollywood will give themselves a standing ovation and chest-swell with pride because they’ve uglied up a pretty actress and honored her so they can say, “See, world, we care about fat people with braces.”
I’ll believe that shameless blarney only when Miss Golden Globe is some 300-pound lovely pushed into a Dolce and Gabbana gown and laden with multimillion-dollar loaner jewelry.
But I also have questions about this year’s Golden Globes ….
Like, what does it mean that during E!’s red-carpet coverage one could spot Will Smith taking the time to sign autographs from fans in the bleachers, but a few moments later Brad Pitt was seen deflecting a similar fan request by pointing at his watch and seeming to mouth something about not having time?
Like, what is Sharon Stone doing sitting at a table with Donald Trump?
Like, how does it feel to be Jeremy Piven? I mean, he was being interviewed on the red carpet on E! when he was suddenly cut off in midsentence by the arrival at another microphone of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who seemed to warrant the kind of hallowed media attention usually bestowed upon the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Santa.
Am I the only one who notices these things?
What did you think of the awards?

I am just so glad that Beyonce didn’t win. I didn’t like her comment about wishing she had gain 20lbs and played Effie. Beyonce also went on to say that she is already a star, everyone know she can sing and she has 9 Grammy’s. For the 1st time in her career she has to deal with competition and her true colors are showing. Acting is a lot more competitive than music. I can name several NONsingers that have multiple grammys……Janet, Ashanti, Ciara, and Britney to name a few. Music awards are based on the best PR, videos, stylist, dance moves, etc.
Beyonce learned last night that acting is a whole other ball game. You cannot fake the funk. The first thing she should have learned is that you have to come out of your own charactor. Deena Jones was not that different from Beyonce. Deena was beautiful, glamorous, and put on a pedistal.

What was with Angelina’s sour puss attitude on the red carpet? Avoiding questions, having Brad do all the talking and just looking p** for having to come to this event. You would have thought her agent told her to go dig ditches for week. Grow up Angelina.

I totally agree with you Grace i’m sooooooooooo glad Beyonce’ did’nt win anything she had this look on her face like i can’t believe i did’nt win she needs to leave acting alone, Jennifer Hudson looked lovely and i’m sooo proud of her! Beyonce needs to deal with singing only…i see JayZ was enjoying the “free drinks, etc” i’m just curious as to how long that relationship will last…have a great day all!

I too am glad Beyonce did not win. Enough of her already. I feel the other ladies nominated in her catagory actually had talent. Oh and that I’m smiling but I’m ticked look on her face was a kodac moment for me. She and her Joe Camel looking boyfriend who does not really act like a boyfriend went home empty handed as I had hoped. Cheers to Eddie, Jennifer and everyone who won.

Well maybe Angelina didn’t feel she needed to say anything. It was Brad’s night, being nominated, not her. Did you see any other significant others making comments? No. Marc Anthony wouldn’t even come in to camera view when Jennifer Lopez was talking to Ryan. It doesn’t mean she was being a ‘sour puss’.

Beyonce “To The Left” ” To The Left” enough is enough. I like Destiny Child instead of “BEYONCE”, BEYONCE AND MORE DAMN BEYONCE. BEYONCE IS SO MARSHA,MARSHA,MARSHA.

It was Jennifer’s time to finish the shine. I loved DreamGirls, but Beyonce’s role was not worthy of an award. You saw many facets of Jennifer character that went up and down. Her singing “I Am Not Going” was worthy in itself. Go Jennifer. She is my home girl. Southside!

I am so happy for Jennifer Hudson because her performance was amazing in Dream Girls. Here voice was outstanding and no one else deserves this award more than she do. “I’m Not Going” was a powerful song and she she sung it with power. So Ccongrats to Jennifer and keep up the good work. And I too feel that Beyonce was just playing herself, but she still did well.

Dang! The world is FULL of haters! Beyonce is beautiful, she can SANG, dance AND act. Deena Jones, if you know anything about the Broadway play, was the opposite of the outgoing, charismatic Effie. Beyonce did a great job with a role that was SUPPOSED to be quiet and in the background. I’m sure everybody hatin on Beyonce on this blog are black women—who are innately jealous of one another…I think it’s in the DNA!

Yeah Bey did have a disturbed look on her face last night. A very fake smile and Jay looked like he didn’t want to be there. I mean she has had a her “time” and still is having her “time”, you can’t win everything. It’s Jhud’s time right now. What I love about her is her humbleness (not sure if that’s a word). She doesn’t come off as fake or as if she is trying too hard. She really looks like she is enjoying the moment and going with the flow. Let’s just hope as she becomes more successful she continues to stay grounded.

I, TOO, AM HAPPY THAT JENNIFER HUDSON WON. I JUST SAW DREAMGIRLS ON SUNDAY AND BELIEVE SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB FOR HER FIRST ACTING GIG! BEYONCE IS A BEATIFUL AND AMAZINGLY TALENTED ENTERTAINER BUT ACTING IS NOT HER FORTE. THAT DOESN’T MAKE SOMEONE A HATER TO STATE THE TRUTH. I TRIED TO TAKE IN HER PERFORMANCE WHILE BEING OBJECTIVE. I DON’T THINK HER ACTING SKILLS ARE GOOD. I KNOW SHE WANTS TO BE A TRIPLE THREAT BUT IT ISN’T THERE. SHE IS SUPER AT SINGING AND PERFORMING. SHE STILL NEEDS TO WORK ON HER ACTING GAME. IF SHE IS TRULY PASSIONATE ABOUT IT, MAYBE SOME EXTENSIVE TRAINING WILL BRING HER TO THAT NEXT LEVEL BUT SHE ISN’T THERE YET. AND YES, I AM A WOMAN OF COLOR AND PROUD OF HER OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS. ACTING JUST ISN’T ONE OF THE CATEGORIES WHERE SHE SHINES.

No one is hating on Beyonce! She is very much overrated, It’s all in the marketing and her Daddy took care of that! She is a beautiful girl, that needs to stick to singing, Did you hear the league of actress she was up against? spare me..Beyonce has reached the top of her game. There is no comparison to the vocals of Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson..JHudson stole that movie!!!-I am happy for her ..I hope she can stay grounded in this business-This is her time-I applaud her .

Mikki, You took the words right out of my mouth! Why all the hate? Can we get some love on this blog, please? Something’s wrong with you if you take pleasure when someone else is unsuccessful. I’ve found in my own life that when people hate on you, it’s usually because they see something in you that they wish they had. So I’m not sure if it’s her confidence, her beauty, her talent or her man, but something about B has some women on this blog mad. I love Beyonce and I love Jennifer, too, and I’m glad that she won. I think there is enough success to go around to Jennifer, Beyonce and other black performers, too. On an unrelated note, I was happy to see the brothers, Eddie Murphy and Forest Whitaker, get some love, too. And now on the the Oscars!

The Hollywood Foreign Press got it right this time!!From Jennifer Hudson to Eddie Murphy to Helen Mirren-I knew Beyonce was not going to win !-she is not an actress-Like she said I am already a STAR,so be content with that you are not a movie star!!!! Wow what a way to go , Jennifer Hudson from 7th place American Idol to Gloden Globe winner…First award of the evening -You go Girl…. Wonderful show -looking forward to the Ocars..

Don’t get me wrong…I loved Jennifer Hudson’s performance…I just have the mindset where as you don’t have to downgrade another person’s performance in order to praise someone else’s. You just can’t compare Beyonce and Jennifer’s performance because they were two totally different roles.

Mikki/Sunshynne, I agree! There is enough success to go around. Why must we hate on one of our own. I believe Beyonce and Jennifer each did wonderful in their perspective roles. Beyonce’s role called for her to be less confident and outgoing, hello people, don’t you get it! And I have seen Beyonce be nothing but gracious in every interview, so why the hate? There were white women and men there who have been nominated many times and did not win. It’s okay to be disappointed and it may show on your face, but be gracious, which Beyonce was. And if people think Beyonce is overexposed, they have the media to thank for that. Look how they overdo it with Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, do you hate on them? Quit with the crabs-in-the-bucket mentality people, IT’S ENOUGH TO GO AROUND! Last but not least, I’m extremely proud of Eddie and Forrest too!

I haven’t seen most of the movies so will not comment on them. I don’t usually watch awards shows because they’re just not interesting to me. But I just happened to be flipping and caught a moment of it and found it very interesting so stayed for the rest. I loved Meryl’s parting shot to finish her acceptance spiel - “That’s all.” And I loved Warren Beatty’s speech even though I found it somewhat long and rambling and somewhat spacy. It was something to see all those huge stars assembled in one spot and I felt some of them felt the same especially to see the old-timers hamming it up and glorying in the (well-deserved) spotlight. Agreeing with Smithee, what WAS up with Philip Seymour Hoffman? As far as Brangie - I don’t know, call me a hater if you want, but even though The Good Shepherd is playing absolutely everywhere right now and I am interested in the story, I just don’t have a strong desire to support Angelina Jolie. Anyway, really enjoyed the show and looking forward to seeing more of the movies.

BBOY! Those words are a but rough don’t you think? MIKKI! I have to agree with the others. We are not Beyonce haters, we are simply being honest. I think she is an attractive female, however, you cannot avoid the fact that if she was not so well marketed(with all the money put behind her) she would not be where she is today. I personally, don’t care for her voice, she “yodels”. I think she now expects for things to come to her automatically, not realizing that an acting award is given because you can act and not just because people view you as being pretty. She was taking pot shots at Jennifer in the PEOPLE MAGAZINE article when she said “she could have gained 20lbs if she wanted Jennifer’s role”. That was a low blow. She was pretty much calling Jennifer fat. Oh, and the 100 times (in the article) she kept saying “she is already a star” was very arrogant. She needs to remember just like she is in the limelight now, GOD can also take her out. She needs to be careful and humble herself. Bottom line, Beyonce is over-rated.

If black women hate each other so much than why do we have so much love for Jennifer. If you read the 1st comment, I gave Beyonce 2 great compliments and compared her to Deena Jones. Deena was glamorous and beautiful. I have both of Beyonce’s CD’s. I am just saying, don’t be surprise for not winning an award for acting when playing someone so simular to herself.
That is like Halle playing a woman who loses a little funky beauty contest but then goes on to become one of America’s highest paid actress but is unlucky with love. How much of a stretch would that be for Halle to play that role. How much research would she have to do? NONE

I like Beyonce a lot. She is a great performer, singer and songwriter — I believe she has even won an award for her songwriting skills. However, I do think she is a bit over-exposed now and that acting is definately NOT her forte. She is gorgeous, but her dress at the Golden Globes was tasteless and tacky — too tight and too sparkly. Did her mom make that? And Jay-Z didn’t seem to look at her at all during the telecast. I know they’re keeping their relationship “on the low,” but if you’re going to go to a high-profile event like that together, you may as well act like it.
Angelina Jolie seemed angry on the red carpet. Maybe she was missing the kiddos.

No the world is not full of Beyonce haters, They have noticed as I have that Beyonce is expecting always to win. She has stated on several occacions that she wants to win an emmy, tony and an oscar! Well, she is already a star, she does have 9 Grammys…her point was, why would she be jealous of Jennifer, when she has already been blessed with a wonderful career? I think she did a good job in her role. You saw her start out as a shy teenager doing everything her mama told her, her manager/husband told her, etc…into a woman becoming more sure of herself and independent. Is it Oscar-worthy? No. Did she do a good job? Yes.

Grace-If black women hate each other so much than why do we have so much love for Jennifer Hudson? Are you kidding me with that statement. Jennifer did an excellent job and tears came to my eyes when she performed “I’m Not Going.” The audience in the theater I went to gave her a round of applause. But I believe black women find it more acceptable to root for Jennifer because she is larger and darker than Beyonce.

Why can’t a black woman make a comment about another black woman without it being called hating? I am a black light skined woman who is proud to be so and I am glad that Jennier Hudson had her time because she deserved it. I do not believe Beyonce deserved to win for this role. Yes she played the role and it was supposed to be the laid back less talented singer who finds her way at the end. Jennifer’s part was a character of much more depth so it would be difficult for Beyonce to get much out of what was given to her as her part to act. That being said I do not believe she is much of an actress from any of her work she has done. I am not hating, just telling the truth. Not jealous at all, just my opinion and if I am still in America that is my right to have one . As black women we need to stop using that as a reason not to be honest be a woman first and if you have a comment it should not be viewed as being negative just because we are black too. Some people do not appear real and humble and Beyonce is one of them and it comes across as if she think’s she is all of that and it makes some of us black and white alike not gravitate towards her. She is beautiful and very talented as a singer. But as an actress I have yet to see anything special but she has time to grow and with the right part who knows, but for this film it was all Jennifer.

I am black so I know personally how jealous black women are of one another. If a woman who looked like Beyonce applied for and got a job in an office where the predominant number of co-workers were black females…she would be miserable. Why? Because her fellow co-workers would be so jealous of her…she would encounter dirty looks, eye-rolling, and bad attitudes left and right. I know it’s hard to admit, but it’s the truth. There are exceptions to every rule…but on the WHOLE, black women are innately jealous of one another.

Mikki, I am sure you are right that this occurs. It is very unfortunate and I agree with you that I wish it did not but on the same token I do not think that the assumptions should be made in this situation that the negative comments that are being made about Beyonce are because of her looks. To insuinuate that everyone here is Jealous because of some experiences you have had is unfair. I think in all fairness we should give the shadow of doubt that it may not be because of her looks and that it is because of her lack of talent. I think it unfortunately makes you part of the same bigotry that you describe. You accuse us black woman of being one sided and only judging people like Beyonce on her looks and you are being one sided and judging us on our comments that we are only saying them because of her looks without looking at the other side of the coin, the same as the people you describe who would roll their eyes and treat her bad at work would do. I am so proud to be a black woman and I know we have our faults but to attack one another on it, to me is just as bad as what you are accusing us of.

Beyonce is suffering from OVER EXPOSER. Beyonce told the movie studio executives that she was not planning on releasing her CD till this spring. That is exactly what they wanted because they wanted all the promotions to be about Dreamgirls and the soundtrack. Not only that, they were afraid of her being over exposed. I believe that is the real reason she secretly recorded the CD. Now some say she rushed the CD to compete with Letoya Luckett who was getting a lot of airplay, press, & magazine covers till B’Day came out.
I do want to say that I am very happy that Grey’s anatomy and Ugly Betty won.

Anyone who thinks black women hating on other black women is a race issue is completely crazy. that’s a female thing—-not a black female thing.
I loved Sasha Cohen’s speech. I laughed so hard that tears came rolling from my eyes.
Angelina Jolie did look upset. I agree with an E! personality that said she probably would rather have been out saving babies and thinks these awards shows are a bit much. Sasha Cohen did make her laugh with his speech though. :)

And I am sure that on many blogs just like this one there are some comments that support your theory and some that are about her acting ability and not the color of her skin or her beauty. If a white woman made these comments, which incidently you were not sure they were not white, what would be the reason then? Could it be then that it was about her acting ?

Beyonce needed to take off that “House of Disaster” dress she had on. I had to get up and check my Christmas wrapping paper to make sure I had some left over for this year. Beyonce also looked like she went to the tanning booth and got a tan. The lady who wrote Grey’s Anatomy should have wrote herself a script and got a better dress herself. Terrence Howard and my baby P Diddy always represent. Beyonce it is Jennifer time to shine and it is now time for you to go “to the left, to the left”.

OK. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT ACTING AND NOTHING ELSE. YES, BEYONCE’S ROLE WAS MUCH LIKE HER LIFE; WHICH MAY BE THE RESULT OF ALL THESE BITTER COMMENTS - BECAUSE MANY OF US LOVE TO ROUTE FOR THE UNDERDOG — IN THIS CASE THE UNDERDOG IS JENNIFER/EFFIE.
I LOVE BOTH BEYONCE AND JENNIFER. BOTH BEYONCE’S CDS AND VOTED FOR JENNIFER.
BUT IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT IT — JENNIFER’S ROLE WAS MUCH LIKE HER REAL LIFE ALSO, SO SHE DIDN’T HAVE MUCH OF A STRETCH TO PLAY THE ROLE EITHER, SHE JUST PLAYED THE PART BETTER — HER NEGATIVE RESPONSE FROM SIMON ON AMERICAL IDOL WAS TOTALLY DUE TO HER IMAGE AND BIG VOICE, WHICH HE DID NOT DEEM ‘POP’ OR MARKETABLE. IN OTHER WORDS — HE DID NOT CONSIDER HER BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH AND SHE SANG LIKE A BLACK DIVA… THEREFORE, SHE DID NOT GET HER PROPS…JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIE…CHARMA IS SOMETHING ELSE…

I have one question: What on earth was Babyface’s ex-wife doing with Eddie Murphy? Hollywood change mates like we change clothes. I’m afraid that after the awards season Jennifer Hudson will be a distant memory. She’s very talented but I don’t see longevity. Remeber how high we were on the woman who played Ray Charles’s mother in Ray? She received many accolades during that year and we thought her future was bright. We haven’t heard anything from her since.

CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG, WHY IS EVERYTHING ALWAYS SO B&W? WE AS A PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO LOOK FORWARD INSTEAD OF ALWAYS COMPARING OURSELVES TO OTHER RACES. WE ARE OWN OWN WORST ENEMIES, WE ACT AS IF WE DON’T WANT TO SEE OUR OWN PEOPLE SUCCEED. LIVE, LOVE, LEARN, AND LAUGH IN THAT ORDER, PLEASE!!!!

Beyonce would be amazed/annoyed to find that there are so many people obsessed with her. I thought this blog was about the Golden Globes but it’s turned into an “I hate Beyonce” blog.

There are other avenues that one can perform besides making movies. There are several theatrical outlets one can do. She was in theater before the movie Ray Charles. Just because you don’t see one alllllllllll over the place like Beyonce doesn’t mean they are not working. There is a lot of money to be made in acting/music and it doesn’t mean that one has to be seen 24/7.

What can I say Sharon…people hate Beyonce. Why? I have no idea. Maybe because she’s beautiful, talented, AND nice? Beyonce is the furthest thing from GHETTO. If we REALLY want to explore Ghettocity…we would be talking about Fantasia.

Ghetto, excuse me. If that is the case Paris Hilton and definately Britney Sprears are ghetto queens. Does Paris have a job? No. Did she graduate from high school? She has a GED. A Hilton with a GED on my God and partying all of the time. Let’s not talk about Britney and her husband K-Fed popping out those babies like popsicles. oooookkkkkaaaayyyyyyyy. If she didn’t have a nanny taking care of those kids the way she is partying they will be taken away from her 24/7.

Beyonce is overexposed is because she is selling millions of records, when she stops selling records there will be any exposure. Why does every Black singer that makes it big into the mainstream audience we end up hating on (michael jackson, prince, whitney houston, even mc hammer) don’t we want us to be succesful? Now watch in 5 years when Jennifer hudson starts selling millions of records and is all on tv & the movies ya’ll will be hating on her next!

Gonna get me some real banana pudding from the Beautiful Restaurant. If I wanted some vanilla pudding with some bananas/vanilla wafers on top I will get a box of Jello Pudding mix. Betta ask somebody.

Well perhaps I should say she is SHAMEFUL and GHETTO then…she IS GHETTO because SHE TALKS AND ACTS GHETTO, she lacks class, her style is trampish, her diction is incoherent, and her song lyrics are trashy! She can not act, and may be pretty on the outside but her actions and words show the true classless ghetto troll she IS

Wesley—All I have to say is RIGHT ON! And Fantasia is a straight up hood rat. All you have to do is look at her video “Hood Boy” to figure that out. And yes, white people can be ghetto too, but right now I’m talking about Fantasia.

I didn’t see the show - were Beyonce & Jennifer even in the same category? If not, then why all the Beyonce vs Jennifer comments. Why does love for one have to be such extreme hate for the other. The both are talented women doing what they do…wow we can be so judgemental and vicious when it’s not even neccessary. Why is it so hard to believe that someone can be beautiful and nice at the same time?

It looked as though Beyonce had tears in her eyes when they called Jennifer Hudson’s name. This women is jealouso of other’s people’s success - Period. Now some people might argue that she is “already a star,” and that “she is already famous,” but that does not make a difference. The excutives at Enron had millions in their bank accounts, yet, they stole from the poor. They took from the very people who had worked their fingers to the bone for 10, 15, 20 plus years. Now what reason did they have to do such a thing? I’ll tell you, it was greed. And like wise with Beyonce. This girl is jealous of not only Jennifer, but of any other women who she feels is a threat to her. By Beyonce’s own admission she stated that whenever a “rival” (meaning, other women) does better than her, she get’s sick with jealous. Now when Beyonce was referring to when another female singer comes out with a new song and it gets alot of attention. But if she will allow a song to cause her to be “sick with jealousy,” then I do not see why it would be so hard to believe that she would be “sick with jealousy” because Jennifer is getting credit for not only her acting, but her singing as well. If you don’t believe me, just look this quote up on “www.femalefirst.co.uk. There is enough room in that industry for Jennifer and any other black women. I do not believe in that “there can only be one” theory. Beyonce is great at what she does but she is not a great actress. You can be good at many things but you can not be GREAT at all of the. Beyonce is not going anywhere - so there is no reason for her to go around being jealous of other black women. As I stated before, there is enough room for Jennifer, as well as Beyonce. There is no need for Beyonce to step down in order for another black women to be in the spot light, and there is no need to put Beyonce down, in order for someone else to be in the spot light. I do not know where Beyonce’s mind is. Did she even congradualate Jennifer Hudson on her win? And did anyone notice that when Jennifer Hudson’s name was called, everyone at the table except Beyonce stood up an clapped for her? For crying out loud, even Jay-Z stood up. Pride comes before the fall. And if Beyonce does not get her act together, she will soon trip over her own jealousy and anger.
