Rock’s Taped Bit at the Magic Johnson Theatre

Brought some much welcomed flava to the evening. Actual real movie-goers extolling the virtues of decidedly non-Oscar fare like “The Chronicles of Riddick,” “Saw,” “White Chicks” and “Alien VS Predator.” And the woman who snatched the microphone away from Rock should have been given her own damn Oscar for making us laugh so hard. Besides being extremely entertaining, the piece also gave Albert Brooks some much needed work.
