“Million Dollar Baby.” Absolutely no surprise to anyone, really. Kinda like the movie itself. Nicely acted, nicely directed, tries extremely hard to push all the audience’s emotional buttons. Everything the Academy loves in a “Best Picture” winner. Even the film’s surprise ending isn’t all that well, surprising. I mean, who DIDN’T know she was gonna ….just kidding…I’m not going to give away the ending. (Sorry to those that saw my earlier post that did give away the ending). I guess you’ll just have to see it for yourself to find out what happens.

ASOLUTELY THE WORST OSCAR SHOW YET!!! CHRIS ROCK IS NOT A GOOD EMCEE AT ALL!! HE WAS DISPICABLE!! BILLY CRYSTAL IS BY FAR THE BEST EVER!!!! IT WAS A BORING SHOW AND I TURNED THE CHANNEL.. BORING…

Chris Rock was GREAT! I would love to see the viewing numbers from the show.

I really hate the person who posted the ending of million dollar baby on here. I hadn’t seen the movie, and now you ruined it for me b/c I know she’s going to die. You IDIOT!

Bad form on the blog - AJC … It has been widely reported that hardly anyone had seen the films nominated for best picture - and now the ending is up for all the world to read. How about killing this thread and spare the rest of your readers who’d like to see the movie without knowing how it ends.
