9/20: Daughtry tries acting on “CSI: NY”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
People.com reports that Daughtry will try his hand at acting as a musician on “CSI: NY.”.
He joins Tamyra Gray, Ace Young and a few other “Idols” who have tried their hand at TV acting, though the numbers are relatively modest.
-David Cook has a single forthcoming but a date has not been set. Various “Idol” Web site pins the name as “Light On.”

-Oh, Mikalah Gordon. Remember her from season four? She’s on “Gone Country.” In the penultimate episode, she creates a country song called “You’re Ugly When You’re Drunk.” She does it in front of John Rich. His comment? “I can’t understand what you’re saying.” Ah… enunciation. Her bugaboo! “I’ve been told a few times that I don’t enunciate my words appropriately. When I get nervous, I close in a little bit.”
