9/16: Blake Lewis cuts short tour with no Atlanta date, Taylor Hicks does national “Grease” tour

So much for seeing Blake Lewis in a 300-person venue for $10. He isn’t coming to Atlanta. In fact, he’s cutting short his tour with no explanation of any real sort. He’s doing just 10 dates and the Vinyl date on October 20 is gone.
I have a friend who actually bought tickets to that concert. Get a refund, Jim!
Blake’s life sounds like it’s in flux, based on his MySpace bulletin.
My tour has been cut short. As of now. Me and the boys are touring from the 5th to the 16th. My frustration has been at an all time high because of this. I am terribly sorry to all of you who wanted to come out and have boughten tickets. I really want to make it out to every state, but this time around its not happening.
I’m in the process of finding new management/record label and I’m hoping to do it right this time.
I love you all and thank you for being so great to me and my band.
-I’m late on this one but Taylor Hicks is doing the national tour of “Grease” now that he’s done with his Broadway gig.
The tour is not coming to Atlanta but starts Dec. 2 in Providence and ends May 30, 2009 in Seattle.
-David Archuleta’s “Crush” is now available on iTunes.
-You know a label is supportive of an act when they re-do a video for another country. Jordin Sparks gets a U.K. makeover for her video “Tattoo.” The beach scene, merry go round and Blake Lewis from the U.S. version are gone, replaced by a more literal version with lots of gals with tattoos. They also glammed up Jordin.
