5/29: Is Clay Aiken a daddy?

I’m on Long Island this week visiting my parents and plan to stop by NYC Friday, missing the two Davids by a day because I just saw them on the “Today” show this morning. My timing also means I missed Taylor Hicks by a week for his debut on the “Grease” play. Bummer!
I’m also grappling with a wonky Internet access so I’m sorry I didn’t post all day. And my parents don’t have a DVR so that means missing shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” and I’m afraid I’m going to miss parts of “Lost” live tonight. Ugh!
Anyway, here’s some other news before the Web dies on me again:
-TMZ reports that Clay Aiken has given his sperm to artificially inseminate his best friend Jaymes Foster, David Foster’s wife. No on-the-record confirmation but TMZ said it got the news from multiple sources.
-David Cook has 11 songs debut in the Billboard Top 100. Many of these songs would have already been on the chart except iTunes withheld sales numbers until he won last week. Still, that’s the most songs by one artists since the Beatles in 1964. Cool, eh?
-A press release from Jon Peter Lewis: Season 3 top ten American Idol finalist, Jon Peter Lewis, would like to personally thank his fans who pre-order his upcoming album, “Break The Silence,” due in stores July 22nd. Those who order his new CD by June 3rd through Adrenaline Music here. will receive a personal thank you from JPL with their name included in the liner notes.

Oh, it really WAS artificial insemination. Thank God! The thought of that whole Clay Aiken / 50 year old woman / sex / pregnant thing just makes me feel like I need a shower!

one more night of auditions, then Las Vegas cuts … i really am enjoying these auditions compared to the AI auditions — so much LESS of the BS… just enough of a taste to let you know some people will do ANYTHING to be in the spotlight…

Sister is correct. Amazing how these things get twisted … are any of you old enough to remember the party game “Rumors” [or perhaps you knew it under another name — where you whisper something in the first person’s ear, and they pass it along until the last person hears it, and repeats it out loud — usually something absolutely TOTALLY different than what began] … LOL!!!

yes, i think we should refrain from discussing Lost because Lara and Rodney, just for starters — i’m sure there are more — have not had a chance to view it yet. Not sure how long it will take ABC to get the 2-hour finale streamed, but it will be worth it Rodney!!! unless of course you can find someone who recorded it to let you watch! i’d say come to my house but… well… Athens isn’t exactly just ‘down the street’ …
i had sort of figured out the HOW of the creation of the 6 — that part really didn’t surprise me much. although it was still gripping to watch the process …
and now, we can soon begin a summer of speculation on the next season’s direction — which will undoubtedly be about 95% wrong, LOL!!! these guys are truly imaginative!!!

Good morning folks. I dont watch Lost so I wouldnt be able to join in anyway. The only night time soap opera I have ever been able to watch is 24. I like shows that end at least after 1 season. I guess I am just too impatient to wait a lifetime to see the ending of a TV show. :-)
