I saw Diana’s Zaxby’s commercial during Terminator last night! I usually mute commercials but when I saw Diana, I put the sound back on.

War Eagle….I’m not sure missing the auditions is a bad thing! But I know I’d be disappointed too!

Good Morning all.

Looking forward to the few gems we will get to see tonight amidst all the silly riff raff. Good to have the show back on though.

Well, I am definately hooked on Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I think this has the potential to be another hit show for Fox. It continually amazes me how Fox seems to find these shows while the other networks keep serving up crap.

I am still POed at NBC for not renewing Journeyman.

Here is a bit of trivia I found surprising — the actress that plays the Teen Terminator - Summer Glau - is actually 26 years old!!!! Some may remember her as River in the show Firefly.

Can you believe it’s already been a year since the last time these auditions started? I can’t. I just hope this season is ALOT better than last year.

Mike, I liked Journeyman, too. I thought it was a good show and had hoped it would come back.

Agreed on the Journeyman no-return…. It had quickly become one of my favorite shows! This year will seem weird enough without 24… At least I still have some of my other favorites around, but even some of those have changed… CSI Miami’s last canned show is tonight… leaving us hanging as H’s son’s mother shows up…they they go on writer’s hiatus…

so Idol will be more important than ever, i guess, along with Carrie Ann/Bruno Dance Wars, which I think I am really going to enjoy… the 12 final picks are truly talented, and it will be fun to see what they do as two separate groups…

And Lost!!!! Let’s not forget 8 fresh episodes of Lost. My older son is currently speeding through season 3 of Lost….he got hooked this summer because I bought him season 1 for his birthday.

I liked The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well. And to add to Mike’s trivia about the teen terminator. The woman who plays Sarah also played the queen in the movie 300 this past summer.

Hi y’all!

The day is finally here….whoo! I cannot wait.

I’m not too surprised at Season 2 of Idol Rewind falling off in the ratings. I think by the time season 2 originally aired, people were already watching. Plus, season 1 gave us Kelly and by the time Idol Rewind started, she was pretty much everywhere riding the success of Breakaway. Ruben (and Clay) haven’t really been that popular recently.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of “performance” Paula puts together. I remember her back in the day.

I’m really enjoying Bruno vs. Carrie Anne as well…we’ll see what happens.

flats, I actually worked at Big Chick when I was in high school. You would not believe how clean they keep that place. You know when you are standing at the counter and there is that mirror to your right. That is a two way mirror and we use to stand behind it and watch people pick their nose and dig their butt and scratch themselves in all kind of places. GOOD TIMES!

I know that everyone complains about the bad auditions, but as long as there is no personal meanness, I can honestly say that I do get a kick out of listening to the bad singers; especially watching the judges’ faces. It gets upsetting to me when the judges get personally mean and put them down for things other than their singing.

oy vey. i have a feeling we may be seeing some old … um … er … personages! yeah, that’s it! now that the season is about to begin…. i find it highly amusing that the immaturity level (regardless of age) seems to show itself so broadly at certain times! I swear, i’m thinking about writing a book… well, compiling a book… about the ability of the internet and its anonymity creating a whole class of prankster - jokester - children (of all ages)… kind of reminds me of the old “Hello, is your refrigerator running” days!

RC? Not sure what you’re talking about admonitions… not at you anyway. someone used my kitty-face to post, and it wasn’t me. The admonitions are for ANYONE who attempts to hijack someone else’s name, nothing more, nothing less.

And no, Rodney did NOT know who the imposter was, just banned the IP address because it was used not only to imitate greg, but also to imitate some others and start some problems. simple solution: trouble maker = banned IP. not necessary to know who it is.

We’re striving for general peace and quiet, with lots of humor and banty-ing about of words and thoughts, hopefully directed more towards AI events/ideas now that the season is actually FINALLY upon us. Anyone and everyone is welcome, whether they’ve been here before or never seen us before, it doesn’t matter.

We have for 4 years asked that the prime directive be courtesy towards other bloggers, no vulgarity or personal attacks, and no stealing of others’ identities to post trouble-making items.

WE…my older son is saying the same thing. he’s about to start night school to get his MBA and he’s kicking himself for not just doing it after he got his undergraduate degree. But…it will all be worth it in the end…even if we have to describe each show to you in boring detail! :-)

LOL, WE, actually, I really DO appreciate nice bodies on chicks as well as on guys…. only problem is, i am not terribly enamoured of the anorexic look, which too many so-called “hot” chicks seem to have… Since i have a husband who looks (since he works as security in a bar in Athens, i’d be REALLY stupid to think he DOESN’T), a 30+ son who was a bartender in athens, a 22 y/o college student son, and a 21 (almost) y/o son who’s definitely looking around, i get LOTS of commentary, LOL

i learned a LONG time ago to listen, to try to understand, to actually learn to appreciate, and to NEVER EVER get jealous over someone’s looks, LOL!!! i’d have been in the looney bin 30 years ago, otherwise!!!

Just a quick run by posting before I head home.

I will try and get on later tonight (hopefully a new post) and throw some comments on about the actual Golden ticket winners we see.

Last year my Audition show comments ended up about 50/50 — I pegged Melinda as winning from day one (she finished third) I blew it on Antonella - predicted her top 12, and Sundance - said he had a chance to win. I did however peg Blake, Jordin, Gina, and Phil as finalists.

I’m wondering where ‘ALL CAPS’ is…The frustration from yesterday probably forced him/her to find another blog - one that is strictly for AI content (if one even exists). Anyway, hot chicks? WE yes - she suffers from fibromyalgia, which can be an incredibly painful way to live. I think she also suffered pretty severe headaches, if i remember correctly.
