10/5: Kat on Atlanta Peach cover

That glossy Atlanta Peach magazine placed Kat McPhee on the cover of its October/November magazine and naturally, she’s gorgeous as usual.
Check out the story here.. It’s pretty clear singing isn’t necessarily her top ambition, that modeling and acting seem to be superseding whatever music career she might attempt to develop. And for most “Idol” watchers, that can’t possibly be a surprise. As reported before, she’s got a couple of high profile movie roles and promotes Sexy Hair products. Really, there’s nothing here terribly newsworthy but it was an excuse to get a hot gal to grace the cover even though she has no connection whatsoever to Atlanta.
“It’s very cliché for a singer to want to become an actress,” McPhee concedes to Atlanta Peach. “But I want to do something different that’s going to introduce you to a different person.” And then she surprises me with her ambition. “I want to be the Barbra Streisand of this generation,” she says. “I want to be someone who is remembered as being great at all things: in film, music, theater. I want to have a solid career.”
