9/21: Relive Idol season one

Only a portion of the current “Idol” fanbase watched the show back in 2002 when Kelly Clarkson won. If you want to check it out for the first time or to re-live it, WATL-TV will be airing “American Idol: Rewind” weekly at 3 p.m. Sundays starting on October 1. Or you can see it on WGN if you have cable at 5 p.m. starting on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The ads I see in TV Guide feature Justin, Kelly and Tamyra. The No. 3 finisher, Nikki McKibbin is absent.

That might be interesting. Although I did watch Season 1, it’d be nice to go back and watch it from a different perspective. Dag RH, where’ve you been??

Mornin’! I have been an AI watcher since season 1 but I don’t remember much about it. Would be nice to check it out. But at 3 and 5? Guess I will miss it both times around!

I watched the first season and liked Kelly from the begining. I could not figure out how Justin Linguini stayed on for so long. He wasn’t that good a singer and his hair got on my nerves.

Does anyone know if they’re showing the seasons in their entirety including the initial auditions? I’d like to see the “Like a Virgin” guy again.

Kelly was my pick from day one! I still remember her singing Mariah Carey’s I can’t live on the finale, man she was awesome on that song! Betcha in the interest of time they will just show the actual competition rounds, not the auditions.

But that is just MHO, I could be wrong :)!

greg, you sound like DUKE. But please, speak for yourself. My life is pretty full, with work, friends, family, dating and being a responsible law-abiding citizen (working hard to pay bills), I watch TV to get away from all the stress and problems that come with the aforementioned. But I also read, listen to music and do a little gardening when I’m feeling brave.

So please don’t resonate what the haters say when they come here. It’s very unfair and erroneously judgmental. What ever some one chooses to do in their spare time is their business.

Ouch, greggy-poo you feeling ok? You have been awfully negative lately :)

I do enjoy my tv watching but I balance it with living life, as I am sure everyone does. Technology can only kill you if you want to let it!

I just got back from a 90 minute workout at physical therapy, second time this week. Been doing this for months now. Can I sit down and watch Dr. Phil now while I cool down?
