This seems like a lot of fun. I know me and my husband will enjoy playing it too. Neither one of us can sing, but we will probably still buy it. We are huge PlayStation 2 fans.

I haven’t played video games since Nintendo first came out. They’ve really come a long way. So I guess this is something that I’ll never experience. Oh well. I hope today is better than yesterday.

shay, if you’re like me, you just make up the words as you go along, then when you see what the words really are, you’re too tickled to sing.
I used to think it was “It took all the pinned up gas not to fall apart. Then I found out it was “It took all the strength I had not to fall apart. I was like, Oh.
greg, now you know what to get me for Christmas.

I think my mom might still have the vinyl. Man I miss that sound of putting the needle on the record. That was the good old days.

what you know about the good old days?? I barely remember.
By Carla
August 24, 2006 10:39 AM | Link to this
I remember being a little girl and laying on the living room floor while my parents played albums on the record player. I’d fall asleep listening to the music.
By shay
August 24, 2006 10:43 AM | Link to this
I do remember the needle on the record days. We had one of those floor model televisions that had the record player on the left side. You could lift up the top to play records. We had like 18 million albums. And I used to use the old ones to sweep up trash in the kitchen then dust it off and put it back on the shelf. Then my dad kept a penny on the needle for weight so that the record would play just right! Those were the good old days. Remember they had single records that were small. I remember I broke my dad’s “Let’s Stay Together” and he broke his foot off in my a$$.

Aw, suky suky now. Y’all are takin’ it back to the good ol days of the original Karaoke. Where you would ‘put the needle on the record’, grab a hair brush and sing along.
And I think it was a universal practice to use the album covers as dust pans! LOL
By shay
August 24, 2006 10:55 AM | Link to this
Jex, we didn’t have dustpans back then. What was a dustpan?? You better use that old album cover. Girl, I use to sing with a comb because I could grip it better. I thought I was pretty too with my big ribbon hair bows and no hair. I thought I was Diana Ross and my sister was a supreme, except we were missing one person. We used to braid our hair at night and then take it loose the next morning like we had good hair so that when we did old school karaoke, we were sharp looking. My brother would slick his hair down with grease and wet it. Couldn’t tell us nothing.
By Carla
August 24, 2006 10:55 AM | Link to this
Ok so I have a confession. I still have my Thriller album. It was the first album my dad ever bought me and I can’t get rid of it. Even though I don’t own a record player anymore. I still had one on my stereo up until 97. The people in the dorm talked about me so bad I asked my mom to get me one with a cd player instead.
By shay
August 24, 2006 10:59 AM | Link to this
Carla, LOL!! I am telling you, my brother still keep all his albums. I don’t know why, but he does. He used to be a DJ and he just keeps them for whatever reason.
No you didn’t say “Thriller”. I used to be so scared of that song when I was little. That’s when Michael Jackson was cute! Now he look like he need to be in the wax museum.

What A Girl Wants should be banned from AI. Do you remember how many people tried to sing that during auditions the first year. I used to like the song, but it’s in the same category of She Bangs. I don’t think of Christina or Ricky Martin, I think AI.

I’m sorry Rodney, but I had to post this.
A former bookkeeper for a doctor’s office pleaded guilty Wednesday to stealing more than $2.3 million from her employer, money she poured — as much as $6,000 a day — into buying lottery tickets.
Annie Donnelly, 38, of Farmingville, faces four to 12 years in prison for stealing the money from her employers, Great South Bay Surgical Associates.
And why didn’t this dummy just keep the 2.3 million. Isn’t the purpose of playing the lottery to win money. DUH!!
