Congratulation Lun Lun, Yang Yang, and Mei Lan. Lun Lun you are such a great mom and I know you’ll do just great with this one as you did beautiful Mei Lan. Wow, hard to believe Mei will be a big sister when so many of us watched her birth and watched her grow into a real beauty. I’m sure this one, or these babies, will be just as loved and just as beautiful. You are each a treasure to Atlanta.

Congratulations to Lun Lun and Zoo Atlanta! Watched her on Panda cam this afternoon and thought she seemed restless. Hope her labor will not be lengthy, but she is in the very good hands and with the best possible care at Zoo Atlanta.

Currently the Panda Cam can only broadcast during the daytime hours. Hopefully a corporate sponsor will step forward and donate the funds necessary for 24 hour coverage. I’m really looking forward to watching “Mei Lan, the Sequel”! LOL (Poor Lun Lun, those ears may never recover from the biting.)

The description of how they got the ultrasound was so funny. I betcha they have to do that to some 230lb women. When Mei was tiny, Lun was such a good mother to her. With so many animals now rejecting their cub, it was a joy to watch Mei grow up in her mothers arms.

I was soooo excited when I got to work and read the special post from ZA and saw the ultrasound- I’ve watched Mei Lan since she was a cub and can’t wait to watch this one too- she is going to be a big sissy now!!! How exciting- way to to ZA-thanks for taking such good care of the family.

Lun Lun, My first human grandbaby was born about a month after Mei’s birth, and my second is due in October. I feel like I’m a grandmother 4 times (maybe 5)! Congrats and good luck!

Congrats to the wonderful people at Zoo Atlanta. I grew up in Atlanta and seeing ZA all those years ago, I am so proud of the accomplishments and giant strides forward in making all the inhabitants comfortable and happy. Congratulations Zoo Atlanta and Yang Yang, Lun Lun and Mei Lan. I am so proud of our zoo and the success of our panda family and habitat. I hope Mark Davis of the Atlanta Journal Constitution will provide us with some more wonderful videos of our newest family member. I know that not only the entire ZA staff, but the city of Atlanta is so excited!

Everyone is so proud of the work done by the zoo staff and the pandas. There will always be a special place in my heart for Mei, but we can’t wait to come see the new bundle of joy :)

I was at your great zoo earlier this month. Atlantans should be proud! Did not see Lun Lun because she was not on exhibit, but Yang Yang put on a great show for us. It was the second time to see Mei Lan and she is as beautiful as her Mom. Yang Yang, Lun Lun and Mei Lan are a beautiful family. Happy for everyone involved.

My family and i have visited Zoo Atlanta twice when Mei Lan was 5 months old and when she was being weaned from Lun Lun. I will be moving to DC soon, but one of the best parts of my many years in Atlanta has been having our great zoo only 15 minutes away - so that I got to see Mei Lan grow up in person, and see what a great mom Lun Lun is. An unforgettable experience - not many of us have the privilege to see these peaceful animals up close so often. Zoo Atlanta, you guys ROCK! Best wishes to ever-patient Lun Lun, suave (?!) and studly Yang, and that little heart stealer Mei Lan.
