Should wild animals be kept in captivity?

A 700-pound grizzly bear named Rocky, who recently appeared in the Will Ferrell sports comedy “Semi-Pro,” attacked and killed a California trainer Tuesday during the filming of an advertisement. (Click here for the story.) Some animal rights groups use incidents such as this to support their argument that wild animals shouldn’t be kept in captivity. What’s your take on the issue? For zoo workers and other animal caretakers, is the risk of being attacked just an occupational hazard? Or should the animals not be kept in captivity in the first place?
