The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Atlanta Regional Commission has released a list of the 10 most wreck-prone intersections in the metro area. Five of them are in Cobb County, and three others are in Fulton. Here’s the full list:
• Austell Road at East-West Connector (Cobb County): 477 crashes
• Barrett Parkway at Cobb Place Boulevard (Cobb County): 377
• Cobb Parkway at Barrett Parkway (Cobb County): 376
• Tara Boulevard at North Avenue (Clayton Clayton): 368
• Sigman Road at Walnut Grove Road (Rockdale County): 324
• Buford Highway at Lenox Road (Fulton County): 316
• Chastain Road at Busbee Parkway (Cobb): 296
• Alpharetta Highway at Houze Way (Fulton): 291
• Austell Road at South Cobb Drive (Cobb): 263
• Roswell Road at Abernathy Road (Fulton): 231
