Oscars: Who was hot … and not?

Whose Oscar attire was stunning? Whose was stinking? Have your say, but keep it clean.

SALMA HAYEK WAS SO VIBRANT IN ROYAL BLUE THAT WITH ALL THE PLAIN WHITE AND BLACK DRESSES SHE SURE DID STICK OUT AS THE HOTTEST WOMAN ON THE RED CARPET. SHE LOOKED LIKE A SPANISH QUEEN OF ROYAL BLOODLINE.

Jessica Alba best dressed, hands down!!!!!! Who told Charlize to wear that “mess of a dress”?

Salma Hayek, hands down, looked the best.

Charlyze: I disagree with the majority, in that I think that Ms.T rocks in this black beauty. The dress could only be red-carpet material, and it makes a stunning impression. The combo of her height, the hairdo and the lower layers offset the much-maligned “rock on her shoulder” perfectly. I give credit for taking a risk and pulling it off.

Felicity’s pancake breasts do not need to be served up on a platter.

Felicity Huffman sparkled in her glamorous black dress with the plunging neckline. Her updo hairstyle and tasteful jewelry brought back memories of old Hollywood. She wins an Oscar for her elegant attire!!

Jennifer Lopez did it right! Right dress. Right hair. Right jewelry. She looked liked a star! Now would somebody please feed her husband!

Geez, who was in charge of the gallery? Reese Witherspoon was lovely, classy and fresh. Nicole Kidman was beautiful, although her hair was overly flatironed.

And Jessia Alba is a beautiful woman, but that dress made her look misproportioned — the halter style chopped her chest in half.

Salma Hayek was gorgeous. Meryl Streep’s dress was fabulous. Jennifer Garner was beautiful (and funny when she tripped). So were Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston (it was a good night to be Jennifer). I think Rachel Weisz wore the same dress Catherine Zeta-Jones did when she was pregnant a few years ago, but it still looked wonderful on her.

Worst dressed: Charlize Theron, Michelle Williams, and Naomi Watts with her salute to Kleenex. Ugh.

Michelle Williams looked stunning in the beautiful and unique yellow dress.

I actually loved Charlize’s dress. It was very traditional Hollywood glamour. She looked stunning. I think the best dress of the night belonged to Ziyi Zying, or however you spell her name. The second best was a tie between Jessica Alba and Selma Hayak. Both gorgeous.

Black, muted gold and champagne colored dresses?? How boring and blah. And, against that fair skin?? Blending your skin color with your dress color looks awful. Disappointing red carpet dresses this year. Unimpressive.

For the second year in a row, Selma Hayek was the best dressed and most beautiful. Kudos to Selma.

I’m so happy for Three Six Mafia, it’s time for those guys to shine. They have been around since 1992, and they really deserve some “real” recognition. This will break all barriers for any body to have faith in yourself, and just do it.

I thought most everyone looked wonderful, lots of beautiful women and handsome men. The only negative was the best song group, Three Six Mafia…I mean…do you have to wear the ghetto gold teeth grill to the oscars? Other than that, fabulous! Best female body: The wife of Will Smith, shoulders to die for girl.

Felicity wins for Best Dressed in my opinion. I also thought that Michelle Williams looked stunning.

As much of a fan of Felicity Huffman as I am, and as great of an actress she is, that dress does not do her justice. It is too revealing, in my opinion. But she did wear it well.

I think you have Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek switched. Salma looked horrible!! That color is disgusting. Nicole looked classy, poised, and on point as always.

Lacie Bridges, I think you have the wrong blog. This is about fashion - not about having faith in yourself.

I forgot about Jada Pinkett-Smith and how gorgeous she did look. I agree with DYJ that the paleness of some of the dresses did not work well on pale women, but WHAT was Naiome Watts (sp?) wearing? It looked like she’d been hosed down with cotton candy.

Joan & Melissa were ga-ga over Charlize’s dress. Yuk. Nice to see that the AJC agrees with my impeccable taste. Hated Reese’s dress too, though her hair looked great.

I think Uma looked great! She looked classic and beautiful. She makes up for a fashion mistake two years ago. Nicole looked good, except for her hair
