Parker’s on Ponce had a FANTASTIC brunch for Easter; I can only imagine it will be THE place to go for Mother’s Day. Perfectly cooked bacon, fresh meats, cheeses and fruit, superb eggs benedict, melt-in-your-mouth omelettes…delicious!

Aspen’s Signature Steaks has the best brunch buffet outside of Atlanta. With two locations, its convenient to both Northwest and Northeast Atlanta. All you-can-eat prime rib, omelets, and salmon are a few of the buffet’s signature items all for just 16.95 for adults and 8.95 for children. The taste and value cannot be beat.

Have to agree with Ray’s on the River, great food and atmosphere, and you feel like even younger children are welcomed…not so at some of the other restaurants mentioned.

Cafe Alsace in Decatur is a quaint, beautiful little spot that is just perfect for mother’s day. My mother and I spent what turned out to be her last mother’s day there a few years ago. The food is comforting, it’s not hurried and it’s easy just to sit and talk.

Montaluce in Dahlonega. This is a drop dead gorgeous setting in the middle of the vineyards with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is fabulous and they’ve got a special posted for mother’s day brunch. Hint to my daughters…take mom to Montaluce for mother’s day: www.montaluce.com
