Prize giveaway winner No. 1 is …

We have our first Best of Big A winner. No, it’s not a barbecue restaurant or a hot weatherperson. It’s Stephanie Covey of Atlanta. She posted a nomination for our first topic, Best Barbecue in Metro Atlanta, and her entry was randomly selected.

She gets a DVD set of the full first season of the TV series “Mad Men,” valued at about $50.

Congratulations, Stephanie.

There will be a winner in all 20 topics posted between now and Labor Day. You have to post to win.
