Jamaica Kincaid comes to SCAD

jamaica.jpg

You can’t get a more straightforward essay title than “How I Came to Write,” nor a more interesting one for a renowned author. That’s the title of Jamaica Kincaid’s speech at 7:30 tonight at SCAD, 1600 Peachtree St. It’s free and open to the public.

Kincaid needs no introduction to her very enthusiastic following, but in case you are not among them, she is an award-winning novelist and memoirist from Antigua.
