Cause this is thriller … thriller fest

Atlanta already has the Decatur Book Festival on Labor Day weekend and the annual Book Festival of the Marcus Jewish Community Center in November.

Now comes the first, and hopefully annual, Atlanta Thriller Bookfest, coming to several venues the weekend of May 2-4. It’s been set up by Eagle Eye Bookshop in Decatur, and will bring together mystery and thriller authors like Jeff Long, Ridley Pearson, Jedwin Smith, and more than a dozen others.

Locations for the varied events include Georgia Perimeter College, Collins Hill Library in Lawrenceville and Eagle Eye. And a percentage of the book sales will go to Wind Horse Power Charity, which builds orphanages and libraries in Nepal and Tibet, so they have the charitable angle covered.

To get the full schedule and details ,go to the Eagle Eye site. I’ll try to come back later with updates or more info.
