Run, Herschel, run! Sign, Herschel, sign!
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
One of the most bizarre stories to come down the pike in oh, forever, was Herschel Walker’s disclosure earlier thus year that he has been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, which most people still refer to as multiple personalities.
“A lot of people look at it and they laugh, ” Walker, the greatest football player in UGA history, told the AJC’s Carter Strickland in one of his only public statements. “Or they hear about it and they think I am being a fool. That doesn’t matter to me.”
Walker’s new book, “Breaking Free: My Life with Dissociative Identity Disorder,” which started this whole runaway train of a story, is finally being released, and he will be making an appearance to sign it on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, 441 Freedom Parkway.
But don’t just show up if you know what’s good for you. There are rules, people. Lots of rules. Read on.
Walker’s signing will be a ticketed event. In order to reserve a place in the signing line, you must pre-purchase the book from A Cappella Books, either in the store (484C Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta), online at A Cappella Books or by phone (404-681-5128).
Those with reservations will be limited to having no more than 3 copies of the book. He will sign for two hours. If time remains after he has signed books for all those who have reserved copies, he will sign additional copies. Walker will not sign any items other than copies of the book from A Cappella Books, so leave that football at home.

If I show up to get the book signed, how do I know if the real Hershel is signing it and not the FBI agent, ballet dancer, or US bobsledder?

How about Herschel on Nightline? That guy looks like he could still play RB, and is probably in better shape than half of today’s NFL players
