Casting Crowns, Third Day, Karen Peck Gooch and Other Georgians Up For Dove Awards

Casting Crowns (pictured above), Third Day and Karen Peck Gooch are among the many acts with Georgia connections contending for the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards April 23 in Nashville.

“It’s been an amazing year of ministry for Casting Crowns,” said Mark Hall, whose group leads in that number, with five — for artist of the year, group of the year, Christmas album of the year, short form video and long form video. “We are proud to be a part of Christian music and we thank GMA for making the Dove Awards such a special event.”
