Angie Stone’s “SpaCation”

All things going as expected, Atlanta transplant — and powerhouse R&B singer — Angie Stone, is headed to Los Angeles this week for a three-month stay to record her next CD.
And she’ll do so all pampered up, courtesy of the two-day “SpaCation” she took at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, where we caught up with her:
“This right here is something on a whole other level,” Stone said of the SpaCation, billed as “the new trend in travel during which an individual or group of travelers hibernate to a local or destination spa for the purpose of relaxation and rejuvenation”.
For Stone it began with lunch in her suite from the room service menu, a trip to the spa for a massage and facial, and dinner that first night at hotel restaurant Park 75. “Usually my spa experience is the in-and-out deal,” she said. “Oh my God I just was treated like a queen yesterday. The best massage I’ve ever had. An 80-minute massage —Â something I’ve never had…and woke up rejuvenated. The atmosphere was just wonderful - the aromatherapy and everything. I’ve found me a nail tech and I found me a masseuse.”
And while she was a little hesitant to talk about, Stone also found a moment to reconnect with her husband-to-be, whom she met at Four Seasons. “You know, I try to stay out of my personal life but the Four Seasons has a special place for me and my significant other. So yes,” she added smiling as he looked on from a magazine, “ this visit is serving many purposes.”
Before the Grammy nominee headed to her next interview, she shared what direction she wants to go with her fifth CD: “It’s something I’ve never done before because I’m a moody person, and a lot of my songs are very hit-home-based. Or moods. But I kind of want a more uptempo album this time around.”

Angie Stone was known as Angie B. B Angie B was a singer with MC Hammer and was Mike Tyson’s girlfriend.

I am a HUGE Angie Stone fan. I realy love “The art of Love & War. Angie is truly a force in the music industry. I think her talent is overlooked. She is a real SINGER W/depth and emotions in her music unlike some artists today.
