Brutha Is Back — With Record Deal And Another TV Show
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Seven months after their bow on Peachtree TV — where they were trying to win the attention of Atlanta’s Jermaine Dupri, and a record deal — the Harrell brothers are back.
And not only has the group Brutha inked that deal, with a debut due on Island Def Jam Dec. 23, but the burgeoning R&B pin-ups are scheduled to return to our living rooms on the BET reality show “Brothers to Brutha,” starting Nov. 18 after the season premier of Atlanta’s “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is”.
Remember Anthony, Jared, Jacob, Cheyenne and Grady from the Peachtree TV show? What do you think are the chances of an R&B group succeeding these days? (They are actually the only one on the Def Jam roster. But they are getting a production assist from one-time R&B group member Daron Jones (of 112), as well as fellow Atlantan Jazze Pha). To better inform your answers to those questions, see a YouTube clip of the new video of their first single, “I Can’t Hear The Music” (featuring Fabolous) BELOW; as well as Brutha doing Boyz II Men’s “Thank You” and “Jesus Gave Me Water”.

These brothers are all talented and I love their song “It’s Too Late.” I love their new show on BET and wish them all of the success with their new album.
