Harry (Connick, Jr.) For The Holidays

Swoon-worthy jazz crooner Harry Connick, Jr. & His Big Band have set a date with the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, for what’s billed as “A Holiday Celebration”.
Tickets for the Dec. 16 show go on sale Friday at www.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com at Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 404-249-6400. They are $55 to $100.
Ever seen one of Connick’s “holiday” celebrations — or him perform live, period? Is there a seasonal concert you have to attend each year, almost like tradition? Mannheim Steamroller, perhaps?

I saw Harry on his last holiday tour, at the Fox about four years ago, and he was fantastic. Having seen two shows at the Cobb Centre this summer, this should be a great venue for him.
