Like husband, perhaps, like wife?
Well apparently so in the case of Atlanta R&B superstar Usher and his bride Tameka Raymond.
Pickybacking on the voter registration drives Mr. Raymond has had here and in Detroit, Mrs. Raymond will incorporate that effort into her “Back To School Expo” this weekend in her native Oakland, CA.
The first annual event, at Oakland’s City Hall Aug. 24, will include a fashion show (Usher’s other half was once his stylist), a teen summit and a talent showcase. And in addition to giving school supplies to an expected 600 public school students, the Oakland Natives Give Back Fund (Raymond, Nyeisha DeWitt and Delicia “Dee Dee” Abdur-Rahim) will also welcome an unnamed “well-known recording artist”, according to the press release.
(Hmmm, wonder who THAT could be?!)

I’m sorry but she looks much older than his Momma! I know that love is blind, but c’mon! On the other hand I hope that she is still taking care of her other 3 children she left to get with Usher….she looks wayyyy too old for him! That’s just my opinion…

I applaud her efforts; this is really great. But, did she really leave her 3 kids to get with Usher. Why? His mansion wasn’t big enough for the WHOLE family? Please!!!

Well, I don’t know Usher or his wife personally. I wish them the best. Celebrity wives become philanthropist because they usually don’t have to work anymore. For those of you who think they should have never gotten married…remember time tells all. Usher, I’m not wishing ill will upon your marriage by saying this. I hope your wife was handpicked by God himself because otherwise your spouse and marriage becomes a job in that it will take the not-so-norm of effort to keep it going. God Bless You!

Actually she left her husband and 3 children to get with Usher. What I was really saying on the outside of how bad she looks was that if you are not doing right by your children that God blessed you to have then don’t expect to be blessed otherwise.

My daughter attended Camp New Look last year. Her discipline was dance and she had a wonderful time learning new choreography and about the business side of the industry. She is now working on a business plan for something she has been thinking about doing for awhile now. Thanks to Camp New Look for having such a positive impact on her life!

Do we really know the circumstances of there relationshop and how it happen? If Usher persued her was she suppose to say no your to old if he was mature? When men choose women young enough to be there daughter as mates are they wrong? Women persue younger men just like men with wealth. The game is not fair. Nothing in life is fair.

Congrats to the Raymond family and all they are doing for the community. For those of you hating, I STRONGLY suggest you read the article of Essence with Usher’s interview. He is a happy father of FOUR. As long as he and his household are happy, the rest of the world can take a long walk off of a short pier. It’s NOT ANYONE ELSE’S BUSINESS what goes on in HIS household. Get your own home life right.

It just annoys me to see so much hateration. Never mind the fact she is doing a good deed in this horrible economic crisis. Tameka do your thing and as Porche Foxx says, let your haters be your motivators. To the person who commented on Cinco, grow up! This is a baby. He is too adorable and innocent in all of this. You can rag on the parents but leave the baby out of it. Just insane and inhuman. I wish the Raymonds much success in their lives as we can not judge them because we do not know them…just on the outside looking in. If people had lives of their own they would not have time to gossip and spread lives along with negativity. Grow up, get a job or something…make a difference in the community by playing on I-285!

Well, whether or not Mrs. Raymond has a bad history is her business.
Those of us who may know her, know her business, most if not all of it, including her relationship with her ex-husband, her other kids and with Usher.
And granted we may not have approved of the way she handled her business either. Let Tameko deal with that, for now she’s happy, Usher appears to be happy, the ex-husband is happy, and the other kids are happy.
Sometimes you have to have the philosophy that your dirt must get dirtier before it is cleaned up and you get what you want.
Whether or not you have used that philosophy, or even believe in it, I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about!!!

Tameka did her homework & knew hot to get him while she was his stylist (and she said this) watched them come & go & listened to all his problems. She did the exact opposite. She’s an old pro. However, if that’s who he chooses, so be it. The young ones are mad because they can’t imagine their beautiful selves without an ounce of fat couldn’t get him and the older ones are mad because if they had known, they would have tried (a la Janet & Jermaine Dupri). If she’s keeping busy and leaving his career (what has worked for him all these years) alone so he can keep making money then good for her and him. He hired his mom back & got his senses back after his current cd didn’t cell even 1 million copies. Stop hating and pray for them. It’s still a Hollywood marriage and will need it. His baby is adoreable & to my understanding she did leave her husband but not her kids.

My kids benefited from the radio personality Ryan Cameron Foundation,Young joc,Richie Rich and Bryan Micheal Cox back to school event last week There event was awesome They teamed up with Nike.They gave new tennis shoes/Nike bookbags to the youth of Atlanta The only disappointment for me as Georgia native was no media for the good the guy’s are doing I would like for the community to see the good they are doing especially in the current economy slump when the majority really is not doing anything for inner city kids now that’s realtalk. They were truly a blessing to my family
