See Micah Stampley Perform Today - For Free
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Contemporary gospel star Micah Stampley is recording his live CD/DVD, “Ransomed,” today in Atlanta — and you’re invited.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at The Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church (2600 H.F. Shepherd Dr.) in Decatur, and is free to the public. (The phone number there is 404-243-9336).
Stampley made his bow in 2005 with “The Songbook of Micah”, the second-highest debut for a male gospel artist in Billboard magazine history.
Were you among the early Stampley fans? Planning to be there tonight?

Rate The New Big Boi, T.I. and Slim Videos
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
If it seems with each new segment of BET’s daily “106 & Park” there’s a new music video from an Atlanta act, well, no worries we’ve done the catching up for the past week, for you.
Below are the YouTube versions of the new releases from Big Boi w/Mary J. Blige (“Somethin Gotta Give”); T.I. (“Whatever You Like”) and Slim w/Shawty Lo and Yung Joc (“So Fly”).
Tell us what you think. (And maybe an even better question: Why do you suppose the T.I. song is the only one of the three getting real airplay locally?)
