In its second week of release, Sugarland’s “Love on the Inside” moves into the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The Atlanta country duo’s album debuted at No. 2 last week based solely on sales of a special fan edition, released July 22 and including bonus tracks. The regular edition of the album hit stores on July 29, helping push the CD to the top. The album switches positions with last week’s No. 1, Miley Cyrus’ “Breakout.”
Sugarland isn’t the only Atlanta act in the Top 10. Christian rock outfit Third Day had its highest charting album and best sales week ever, according to Billboard. The quartet’s new album, “Revelation,” debuts at No. 6, selling 75,000 copies.
Both Sugarland and Third Day also top their respective genre album charts this week.

Wow, that Third Day album cover looks an awful lot like Radiohead’s Hail To the Thief album cover. Someone else thinks so too.

Yacob you weirdo…she’s essentially solo already. What does Kristian sing? He does bring a lot of engery to the stage, is fun to watch, and is extraordinarily talented. Why would she ditch that?

Both of them are awesome so I’m not surprised. I bought both of these albums the day they came out.

I don’t think its right that a member that left voluntarily should continue to get a full cut on the profits of Sugarland as a group. I can understand that all sales of their previous work should be divided equally but not the new stuff. She chose to leave so she misses out on the good stuff. I love Third Day - a good christian group that isn’t churchy sounding. Mac Powell the lead singer has a great voice.
