Third Day Is Number One-Again

TD_Revelation_Main.jpg

“Call My Name,” the first single from the upcoming album by Atlanta’s Christian rockers, Third Day (above), now tops the R&R Christian AC, CHR and Christian Radio Weekly charts for another week.

It is the second consecutive single to achieve that success on those listings. And just the latest achievement by the act that has had 25 No. 1 radio singles, 23 Dove Awards, three Grammys and sold more than six million albums.

Third Day’s new CD, “Revelation”, is due in stores July 29; after which they plan to hit the festival circuit with Switchfoot, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and Jars of Clay on the Music Builds Tour.

Looking forward to that album? How would you rate “Call My Name”?

Third Day’s “Call My Name” is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to their up-coming album “Revelation.” I would have to rank it, though, as one of my favorite songs of all time. Killer rifts, vocal performance by front man Mac Powell, and incredible lyrics make this one to turn more than several heads. Congratulations on yet another industry success, guys!

Call My Name is awesome. Congrats to the guys on another #1 single. Based on what I’ve heard, I would have to agree with Brandon that “Call My Name” is just the tip of the iceberg for the new album. I’m really looking forward to its release on July 29.
