Alicia Keys in Atlanta May 28

ak_smokin_2.jpg

Eleven-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys has set a date with Atlanta: May 28 at Philips Arena. And tickets go on sale this Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets. CLICK HERE to purchase.

Keys (above) has Atlantan Ne-Yo and “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks on her As I Am tour, as Ne-Yo told us earlier. (“And I think it’ll be A LOT less hectic than the last one,” he added, referring to the R. Kelly tour he was on months ago, and left.)

Have you seen Keys or Ne-Yo live before? How would you rate them on stage? And are you planning to see them in May?

not a fan of Ne-Yo but a big fan of Alica Keys and she never disappoint!

I seen her when she opened for Maxwell and Jill Scott at Chastain Parks. She is one badddddddd chick that can truly sing with emotions!

Phillips Arena needs a better set up - they should let the artist do it 360 degree style like Prince did his show.

I haven’t seen Ne Yo in concert, but Alicia Keys puts on an AWESOME show. She is a class act all by herself. The girl is Badd. Very talented and her back up singers are GREAT. This is a show you want to see. She will not Disappoint U.

I have seen Ne-Yo in concert and definitely don’t want to experience that disappointment again. I hear from everyone that Alicia is awesome and I am looking forward to this concert.

Hey Sonia,

Who is Neo-Yo? As of the time of this posting, that’s what the text that links to the main page of this article says.

Spellcheck, maybe?

I saw Ne-Yo while he was on tour with R. Kelly, u know before Kelly kicked him off. To me Ne-Yo gave a better show. I also like Alecia Keys. I think it would be good to see them both on the same ticket. To die Hard Alecia Keys Fan about the set-up at philips, as far as the set up goes with the artists, it is really up to the artist and their tour people as to how they have designed the stage to be for their show. You mentioned when Prince had his show and how he had the 360 degrees angle. That was because that set up had already been designed for his tour. Philips tries to accommodate the artists and their designs for their show. I know because I have worked for Philips.

Miss Keys! Enough said, she is one badd chick. I saw her at the Fox, it was awesome. The atmosphere was right, i hope the Arena will keep that same effect.
