When Mariah first came out (Vision of Love), her voice was beautiful. But now, she’s just another in a long list of pop-tarts that grace the charts. Of course, the album will probably sell, but hey, she could have done a layout in Playboy and made the same impact.

Nice! I like it. A good mix of hip-hop and R&B. For awhile there Mariah had the wrong mix; seems like she was letting the hip-hop overpower her. But this one’s a winner. Makes you overlook that ridiculous album cover. Damn Mariah, you’re almost 40 years old - can’t you dress your age?

This is another musical feat by Mariah. The song shows off her ability to craft a melody and its playful lyrics truly ooze Mariah-ness. A “Honey” of 2008 and surely her 18th number one. I love it!

I love the song! Mariah has smashed it, can’t wait to play it to my man, especially as it’s v-day :-) Mariah’s new tune is sassy and fun, it reminds me of the feelings I felt when I first met my guy. I wanted to behave yet show him so much affection…before you jump to assumptions he waited and was gentlemen however when the magical moment did happen I relayed if he was to make a vid I would kick his ass! Go Mariah, you always and will continue to make music for different life experenices, i’m forever relating to your music, the good times and bad. Mariah’s music is either serious or playful, the perfect mix in my opinion!

It’s a very beautiful song, the tempo’s just right. Compared to a lot of other pop songs in the industry, this one is very classic. I don’t care if it makes billboard #1, I love it.

As i was reading the first comments i was getting mad. I mean look at all the haters.!!! Mariah is a beautiful talented artist! No of course shes not going to be JUST like Vison of Love.. yeah it was a beautiful song but she has grown as an artist and people give her some damn credit when its due. When “Its like that” came out she wasnt really singing just getting her message out and if you purchased the album then you realized she had some beautiful Ballads on there. be patient i think shes giving us a tease. She is having fun! This is a hot track, and its subtlety will really help it infiltrate radio. Good choice for a first single; just enough to leave them wanting more. It’s got that breezy style that’s been so popular in music lately. Plus, I appreciate the understated vocals. It’s a refreshing change of pace.

This song is a surefire hit! Mariah is ready to pull out this “dessert” to the first course that we loved called The Emancipation of Mimi. I LOVE IT! Touch My Body and the album E = MC2 is going to be amazing!

I think the song is in line from what we heard on the emancipation of mimi. It’s a hot track that quickly gets into your head (in a good way). I agree that it doesn’t hit the high notes of past songs, but I’ve heard so many people complain about that, too. It’s a great song and I think many people will love it, including me.

I heard at least 100 times since it premiered!!! I can’t get enough!! This is the perfect lead single!! It’s definatly going to be her 18th #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!! Only 2 days of air play and already charted on Hip-hop/R&B chart at #78!! Go Mariah!!! Finally she is saving us from this drought of lame music… I mean Low..#1 for several weeks…ehh time to put REAL music up in the #1 slot. Mariah Carey is the greatest and most creative singer/songwriter of our time. And for all you haters, you want to hear her high register, you have plenty of songs to choose from, she should be know for her Voice and register and not just register aspect. And for those who wanted another “Vision of Love,” just lsiten to it. Why would she try and recreate her past!? Shes grown and is adapting to the mainstream music of this decade. Of course when Mariah came out she was singing about “Vision of Love” (which is about her dream she believed she would one day be on radio with her music and it came true) she isn’t going to be on that subject of the simple love theme for over 15 years…artist do grow and evolve as she should! This sounds real coming from Mariah—Wendy interview—yeah that is part of her real life and if she was thinking about a guy this song really could be her thoughts and so easy to enjoy it is a really fun song. A+ Mariah, way to go! :)
