Zeppelin Joins the Digital Age
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
One of the few remaining digital hold-outs has joined the media revolution. Billboard reports that Led Zeppelin’s entire catalog, previously unavailable for legal downloading, will hit the electronic frontier on Nov. 13.
Nov. 13 also happens to be the date for the release of “Mothership,” a 24-track, two-disc compilation that covers the band’s entire career. One week later, on Nov. 20, a remixed and remastered version of the soundtrack from the concert film “The Song Remains the Same.” It will include six songs that didn’t appear on the original release.
All of this comes in the weeks leading up to a one-time reunion show that will take place in London on Nov. 26.
Looking forward to getting instant Zeppelin gratification, or do you have it all already?

Welcome to the 21st Century Led Zeppelin!!!! Do us a favor and stay retired. No one wants to see decrepid old fart rockers trying to relive their glory years.

Zeppelin rocks. Give the old dudes a break. At least they can play instruments unlike most “musicians” these days.

Jimmy Page may look decrepit, but he plays guitar better than you ever will.

They had a few good moments but I still think they are overrated. The Song Remains the Same is one of the most boring movies I have ever had to sit through (both stoned and sober).

How many times can Zeppelin repackage the same material? Did you read the article? It states that six songs will be released from the Song Remains the Song concert that were not included on the original album.

Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite band. I don’t know about any future albums, but the ones from the past are awesome. I don’t care if they do look decrepid. They were great in their time.

I moved to Europe in ‘72 and for the next 3 years they were pure, mystical energy and a powerful experience to watch live in a world & time of uncertain futures. And as a young adult then, I’m grateful to have been there and still be able to remember the feeling. It was a great time to be 18 and alive. PEACE. We forgot, did’nt we?

Hi SA,
You’re gay. That’s why you think The Song Remains The Same is boring. Like a girl might.
