By The Associated Press

The Associated Press

A little bit of Hollywood is coming to the small Vermont towns of Dover and Wilmington.

The Independent Television and Film Festival, or ITVFest, will take place Sept. 26-28 in the towns, which have a combined population of just a few thousand people.

ITVFest offers a showcase for screenings by independent creators of content for TV, new media and digital programming. Film submissions for the festival include projects from 14 countries, and festival-goers will also enjoy speakers, panels, live music, and local, artisanal food against the backdrop of fall foliage in the Green Mountains.

The annual event, founded in 2006, was held in Los Angeles for seven years. Past festivals have resulted in scripts bought by NBC, Fox and Comedy Central.

Passes begin at $79; details at http://www.itvfest.com .
