SA IT Services is a great place to work. This is a local company with over 500 employees nationwide. The owner of SA is not only a great boss but a great person as well. He believes in rewarding hard work and sets an excellent example of someone that gives back to the community. The company was established on old fashioned values and has a track record to prove that those values still work today. Customer Service really is a priority and in todays tough market place it is critical. One thing the owner has never forgotten is the fact that his employees are a direct reflection of how he operates his business and when they are unhappy the business suffers. It truly does make a difference when you work for someone that “practices what they preach”, most employees follow by example but rarely will you find a boss that is able to lead by example. SA IT Services has just that & I for one am a better person for working there.

The Paradies Shops is a great place to work. This is a local company with over 3000 employees nationwide. The family business The Paradies Shops has great leadership under Gregg Paradies but he is a great person as well to work for. He believes in rewarding hard work and sets an excellent example of someone that gives back to the community. The company was established on family culture and values and has a track record to prove that those values still work today. Customer Service really is a priority and in todays tough market place it is critical. One thing this family has never forgotten is the fact that their employees are a direct reflection of how he operates their business and when they are unhappy the business suffers. It truly does make a difference when you work for people with family values that “practices what they preach”, most employees follow by example but rarely will you find a boss that is able to lead by example. The Paradies Shops is a great place to work and this company has a proven track record when it comes to family culture and values. I am proud to say that I have been happy since I started with this compnay in 2000 to me they are the employer of choice because I could think of any where else that I would want to work.

You missed one of the few manufacturing companies with a significant presence in Georgia! Herman Miller (#89 on Fortune Best Companies to Work for 2009) has nearly 400 employees working in Atlanta at Geiger International located on Fulton Industrial Blvd SW. They design, manufacture and distribute office furniture, systems and seating products. While the whole office furniture industry has been impacted by the downturn, Geiger/HMI still provide a great place to work.
