Show off your workspace!
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Are you obsessively organized or just plain messy? Send us photos of your cubicle, office or workspace and let others see how you live on the job. We want to see the neat freaks, the paper hoarders and those with themed workspaces.
Does your co-worker’s cubicle drive you crazy with its tropical theme or collection of beanie babies? Make your workspace fashion crime reports here (but if you submit a photo of a co-worker’s “scene of the crime”, make sure you have their permission or we can’t post it).
If you are seeking tips on how to efficiently organize your workspace, then refer to this week’s ajcjobs feature story, which provides tips from the experts.

I maintain a totally empty cubicle at all times. No pictures, figurines or other personal items. I show up, plugin my laptop and work. Why?
I decided long ago that I would never in this forever changed job market put myself in a situation where I might have to pack boxes in embarrassment should I ever return from lunch and security is standing at my desk waiting to escort me out.
It’s sad that it has become that way, but I would simply turn right around and walk out of the building; leaving the laptop that belongs to the company right on the desk.

ISL: I can see where you are coming from. I like to personalize my space because I have to be here eight hours a day. I have pictures and Knick Knacks and cut outs of my favorite male celebrities - honestly! I do know if someone ever walked me out they better have a box handy to give me, because I might show out if I can’t at least get my kids’ pictures. They will need security for real then!
