Caregiver Tales

Caregiving is more than a job, it is an act that challenges and celebrates the human spirit. For those with aging family members, it is a way to show appreciation for those that once took care of us as children. As the baby boomer generation begins to enter their golden years, more and more of us will be embraking upon the journey of caregiving.
Being a caregiver for an aging loved one is one of the most important tasks that a person undertakes. Share your insights, your triumphs and your frustrations.
Email us your story: JKJOHNSTON@AJC.COM. Tell us: The person's name that you're writing about. Who did you become the caretaker for? How has your life changed?
Please attach a photo, ideally of yourself and the loved one that you are caring for. (This is optional.) Please follow the instruction below to submit photos.
