For road warriors
With dealers from across the state and beyond converging on Atlanta Motor Speedway's infield this weekend, there will be hundreds of motor homes, travel trailers, pop-up campers and the like to peruse. But RVs won't be the only attraction, with trucks, SUVs, boats and other outdoorsy vehicles on display.
Roadside attractions
Looking at trucks and campers will only be part of the fun as there will be family fun and seminars on archery, fishing, cooking, RV upkeep and other topics all weekend. And for those looking for some faster-paced action, monster truck rides are an additional $7, or you can take a top-speed jaunt around the track for $99 with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. For overnighters, "Night at the Museum" will be shown on the outdoor screen April 18.
Hitching a ride
The schedule for April 19 features a full lineup of bands along for the ride. New Horizons kick things off at 4 p.m. with a set of bluegrass, followed by Bill Steely. And the Finish Line All Stars, featuring members of Southern rock favorites the Georgia Satellites, will headline the night's festivities.
