My favorite cool treat

Even though the weather is cooling down I still get a hankering for a sweet and cool treat on a regular basis.
So I’m going to share the place I frequent nearly every week. It’s Rita’s Italian Ice and it’s located in Peachtree City on Ga. 54, just past Wal-Mart. They have the most amazing assortment of flavors of Italian ice.
My personal favorite (at the moment) is pumpkin pie. Yes, imagine taking a spoonful of an icee sort of treat that, no kidding, tastes like pumpkin pie. And it’s not even Thanksgiving yet!
My daughter’s personal favorite is mint chocolate chip. The flavors change daily, so stock up when you go, if you find your favorite. But besides Italian ice, they have custard, which is like ice cream, but with a really smooth texture.
Of course they have regular ice cream, too. It really is a must-try place. Check out their website, www.ritasptc.com, and see for yourself. I don’t even think the cooler temps will keep me away from this place. Check it out for yourself or tell me if you’ve been and let me know your opinion.
