Have you spent Thanksgiving on the road?

Dear readers - I know Thanksgiving is a ways off, but before you know it, it will be here.

Like many transplants in the Atlanta area, we don’t have any family here (other than my brother who is always off doing his own thing), and we are thinking about doing something different (within driving distance) for the holiday.

One year, we did drive down to the beach in the Florida Panhandle, but other than that, we’ve never traveled during that particular holiday. Are any of you giving any thought to it, and do you have any suggestions for a family with a 16 and 20 year-old?
