Plastic, paper or cloth bags?

I don’t know if you heard the news, but the Los Angeles City Council recently voted to ban plastic shopping bags starting July 1, 2010. Shoppers can bring in their own or pay $.25 for a paper bag.

And I’m thinking that’s a pretty good idea. Personally, I do bring my own bags to the grocery store, but on occasion get the plastic ones because I use them as trash liners.

I have other uses for them and it has to do with cats. And that’s about all I want to say about that. Hope you get my drift. What about you? Could you live without the plastic stuff?
