Does you pet exhibit wacky behavior?

Those of us who own dogs are infamous for bragging about their abilities (and inabilities).

I’ll be the first to admit that instead of my children gracing the front of my cell phone, yes (my head is hanging in shame at this very moment) my dogs are the main attraction on my cellular device.

But there is another side to our lovable pooches. Sometimes we don’t talk about it and can’t talk about it, because frankly, it’s just too embarrassing.

I’m talking about their occasional unique habits. And I mean that in the nice way. And, trust me, my crazy mutt has one weird habit. I’ve never shared this publicly, so here goes: I have several house plants with large leaves in my family room. Whenever Jet gets a little stressed (at least that’s my theory) she gets what I call “plant therapy,” and ever so slowly, she walks around the plant so that the leaves gently touch the top of her back.

If I look at her while she’s doing it, she looks at me as if to say “what’s your problem? You lookin’ at me?”

So I just ignore her and let her finish her very odd behavior. I’ve owned more than several dogs and have never seen this before. Have you? And now that I’ve opened up and shared a very personal idiosycracy, I’m hoping you’ll share some of yours. What does your dog or cat do that you find a little wacky?
