Viewing an eyesore’s potential
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Those of you who regularly drive up and down Ga. 85 in Fayetteville have no doubt seen that funny little…umm… unmanned shack that sits in the parking lot at Michael’s.
To be exact, it’s in the parking lot but actually very close to the McDonald’s.
It’s been there for a long time and the sign on it reads: Can we pray for you? (or something like that.) Well after all the rain and humidity we’ve had, that little abode is looking a bit beaten up and dreary.
So, I’ve been thinking…what could we put in that little structure that would cheer it up a bit and maybe bring in a little money. I’ve got it! What if whoever owns it would let local kids set up a lemonade stand?
Or maybe someone could sit in there and dispense safe driving tips (we could all use some). Actually, if I had my way, I’d make it a cookie stand- all kinds of cookies. Now that’s something I’d pull in for! What about you? How would you put that little building to good use?
