Fayetteville retail: Going, going, gone…
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
With all the store closings (or soon to close) going on in Fayetteville, I’m wondering what will be next.
Here’s my latest count: 1) Goody’s 2) Friedman’s Jewelers 3) Traditions in Tile 4) Onyxx restaurant 5) Linens n’ Things 6) MacAlister’s Deli 7) Johnny Carino’s 8) Ted’s Montana Grill 9) Los Toribios
This is my prediction about the next (big box) store to close: H H Gregg in the Fayette Pavilion. When I drive by the parking lot it is rarely full. And the few times I’ve been in there, it’s rarely crowded.
I hope I’m wrong and that they continue to thrive in these hard economic times. I guess time will tell.
Do you want to make a prediction about the next place to close no matter where in the county?
