Can Clayton lure new businesses?

A few new businesses are trickling into Clayton County. At a time when much of the attention is focusing on problems in the school system, it’s refreshing to learn new jobs are being created. Read my latest blog entry on Wordpress

Is change coming to Clayton?

Unlike the Clayton County Board of Education, the face of our board of commissioners has not changed very much.

Anyone who has paid attention to BOC voting patterns during Chairman Eldrin Bell’s first term had to notice the habitual 3-2 split favoring Bell, Michael Edmondson (District 4) and the recently ousted Virginia Gray. However, at the BOC’s first 2009 meeting, Sonna Singleton (District 1), Wole Ralph (District 3) and new District 2 commissioner Gail Hambrick comprised a new majority ready to take action.

Some decisions made were to save Southern Regional Medical Center and put two BOC members on its Board of Directors (of which Ralph is one); Hambrick stepped aside so Ralph could be named Vice-Chairman; a two-commissioner finance committee was created to oversee county financial matters; several government hirings and firings were implemented and should be expected given the county’s uncertain financial status and the economy in general. What do you think of the decisions made at the last meeting, particularly the staff changes/streamlining? Good start?

Bell and recently terminated financial adviser Ed Wall have publicly complained of a political shift/coup, but is a changing of the guard necessarily a bad thing?

According to the Clayton News-Daily the Chairman believes that last Tuesday’s changes have taken the power of county government away from its citizens. Do you agree with him? Do you attend Commission meetings? Commission meetings occur on the first, second and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm. Meeting Agendas are usually available online the Friday before the meeting.

Change is not necessarily a good or bad thing. But when “change” is brought about to line the pockets or give more power to persons who do not have be best interests of the voters it is not a good thing. If the change is just the color of a person’s skin it is not a good thing. If the “change” is the same crooked politics just a different party it is not a good thing. If the “change” is just to punish the party who is in the minority it is not a good thing. ( That promotes retaliation when the pendulum swings the other direction which it does, that is why it is a pendulum) “Change” when it is for the benefit of the people not the politicians is a good thing. “Change” that makes big government smaller is a good thing. ” Change” that doesn’t tax the ones who are actually paying all the taxes is a good thing. (You can’t get blood out of a turnip. And you tax the businesses out of businesses you lose your tax base and people lose jobs.) ” Change” where our politicians are not in the pockets of developers and lobbyists is a good thing. Firing the financial adviser who was the victim of of the National financial melt down and keeping the person who did not do her job which lost the County federal and state grants was definitely NOT A CHANGE FOR THE GOOD. It was a BAD thing. All this is my opinion and I am entitled to it. And nothing had better make that change.

If the Commissioners felt Bell was doing a bad job then they should let the voters decide to oust the Chairman. They have in fact completed a coup. The solution to the County Commission is to add Two more seats. A county our size needs at least 7 commissioners

This is just karma’s way of thanking Eldrin for his role in costing the school system its accreditation, since the general public failed to give him his due on that score. And speaking of the general public, it’s not like he came into this with a mandate. The majority of votes weren’t for him, they were votes against his opponent. Not that the orchestrators of this have the most noble of intentions; it is Clayton County after all.

By Is change coming? Funny

January 13, 2009 12:47 PM | Link to this

Is change coming? So now we got punchlines as blog topics? Of course that’s not half as funny as Eldrin acting concerned that the power is being taken out of the people’s hands. Give it up, Eldrin; the deadline for Oscar nominations has already passed. Instead try waking up each and every morning and giving thanks to your opponent in the last election, because that’s the only reason you were re-elected.

Change? About as long lasting and meaningful as a diaper change with this sorry lot of public servants. You can name the good ones on one hand, with fingers left over to pick your nose. Of course that wouldn’t be the case if the majority of voters didn’t invest more effort in picking their nose than they do in picking their elected officials.

I am pleased and very happy that Vice Chairman and now the Supreme Chairman Wole ( I now along with my two friends and commission colleagues now run and control Clayton County) Ralph, Commissioner Sonna ( It is our turn to run this county the way it needs to be run ) Singleton, and new commission member Commissioner Gale ( The Unselfish One and now the hard working commissioner of District Two and undoer of previous commissioner Virginia Gray’s negative, destructive, stupid, ignorant, and dumb decisions and actions she did that have wrecked District Two and made it the ghetto, third world district area, dirty, filthy, and trashy area that it is ) Hambrick will make the right decisions and take the right, proactive, strong, and necessary actions to right the wrongs that have been done to Clayton County and will make this county great once again.

These powerful three now are the power in Clayton County and will neutralize, stop, and strip Chairman Eldrin (Crooked, Corrupted, Unethical, Dishonest, Shady, Underhanded, On-The-Take, You Got To Line And Pad My Pockets and Pay-To-Play) Bell who sided with his past commission colleagues Virginia (Landfill) Gray, J. Charley(Boss Hog, Boss Man, The Ringleader, The Mastermind, The Land Baron) Griswell and even some of the time with present Commissioner Michael (I hope I still have some power as a sitting commissioner and please do not neutralized the little-to-virtually non-existent power that I now have) Edmondson in making decision and making decisions that were not in the best interests of the citizens who live in Clayton County and Clayton County itself.

There has been a very great, dramatic, awesome, and powerful power shift in Clayton County and these three showed their newfound presence, authority, power, and might at the first commission meeting of the new year last Tuesday January 6, 2009 with more to come.

It is my sincere hope and desire that these three will work for the good of Clayton County and will undo the wrongs done to this county by bad, negative, destructive, dumb, ignorant, stupid, and self-interest decisions, actions, and policies done by Chairman Eldrin Bell, past Chairman Crandle Bray, past Commissioner Gerald Matthews, past Chairman and Commissioner J. Charley Griswell, and past Commissioner Virginia Gray.

It is a new day in Clayton County. The sun is shining again. The county is in great hands with our new Chief Of Staff Clayton County Fire Chief Alex ( I will single-handedly and mightly whip all of the departments, departments heads, their deputy heads, and all under their supervision in tip-top professional, competent, and capable shape and will get rid of all who refuse to get with the program ) Cohilas and Clayton County’s New Director of Policy and Planning Wade (The Behind The Scene Hard Worker) Starr.

When all is said and done, Vice-Chairman and Supreme Chairman Wole Ralph, Supreme Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Supreme Commissioner Gail Hambrick will be known as the Commissioners who saved Clayton County, got Clayton County back on the right track and make Clayton County a great place once again for the right people and their families to move back to live, work, play, have fun, and raise their families.

Just remember in the 1990’s up until December 31, 2004, it was the three vote power majority three of Chairman Crandle Bray and his two Commission colleagues and friends Commissioner J. Charley Griswell, and Commissioner Gerald Matthews that ran Clayton County and made all of the decisions and essentially neutralize the power of Commissioner Virginia Gray and Commissioner Carl Rhodenizer.

From January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2006, it was the three vote power majority three of Chairman Eldrin Bell, Commissioner J. Charley Griswell and Commissioner Virginia Gray that ran Clayton County and made all of the decisions and essentially neutralize the power of Commissioner Wole Ralph and Commissioner Carl Rhodenizer.

From January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008, it was the three vote power majority three of Chairman Eldrin Bell, Commissioner Virginia Gray and Commissioner Michael Edmondson that for the most part ran Clayton County and made virtually all of the decisions and essentially neutralized the power of Commissioner Wole Ralph and Commissioner Sonna Singleton.

Now from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010, the three vote power majority three of now Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gale Hambrick will run Clayton County and make all of the decisions and take all of the actions necessary to make Clayton County great once again and will neutralize as they have already started the power and authority of Chairman Eldrin Bell and Commissioner Michael Edmondson.

Everything in Clayton County’s politics goes around in a full circle and now the power, authority, might, command, and leadership pendulum has moved to the new supreme power, authority, mightdecision making and action taking three of Wole Ralph, Sonna Singleton, and Gail Hambrick.

It is what it is, the truth is the truth, the facts are the facts, what will occur with these powerful three will occur, what will be with these powerful three will be. Change has already occured and more major changes in Clayton County’s Governmental Stucture, Departments, and Make-Up will occur. Just hope that these powerful three can make Clayton County right, great, prosperous, and a desirable, livable, appealing, and attractive county where people and their families want to again move to live, work, play, have fun, and raise their families.

Why not? They were a big help to Eldrin in the past, when people started getting too close to the dirt, no pun intended, on the land deal. Sure he helped costs the school system its accreditation, but that’s a small price to pay to keep Eldrin’s reputation pristine isn’t it?

It is my sincere hope that even though Commissioner Sonna Singleton and Commissioner Gail Hambrick have given now Vice-Chairman and Commissioner Wole Ralph extreme power, authority, and command in him being now the real Chairman of the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners especially with Commssioner Hambrick giving up her term as Vice-Chairwoman to Commissioner Ralph, that they will not be silent participants and “rubber-stamping” everything that he wants to do and will exert some degree of accountability and hold him accountable to the decisions that he makes and actions that he takes since he needs their two votes to have the three vote majority power and authority to do what he wants in Clayton County.

Although Vice-Chairman Ralph has in the past wanted to do things that benefit the citizens of Clayton County and was essentially stopped by the three vote majority power of Chairman Eldrin Bell, Commissioner Virginia Gray, and Commissioner Michael Edmondson, he now is the power and authority of Clayton County and now with the support of Commissioner Sonna Singleton and Commissioner Gail Hambrick, now runs Clayton County and has totally and completely neutralized and stopped Chairman Eldrin Bell dead in his tracks.

Chairman Eldrin Bell no longer has any power, authority, command, or leadership in Clayton County. The total, complete, and absolute power, authority, command, and leadership in Clayton County is with the new Supreme Chairman of Clayton County Wole Ralph and his two Vice-Chairwomen Commissioner Sonna Singleton and Commissioner Gail Hambrick.

Yes, it is indeed a great day in Clayton County because the ineffective, nogood, serving in his own self interest and to his own benefit Chairman Eldrin (Corrupt, Crooked, Dishonest, Unethical, Self-Serving, On-the-Take, Give Me The Loot, You Got To Pay-To-Play in Clayton County, and Line And Pad My Pockets) Bell no longer has any power, authority, or leadership on the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners or in Clayton County.

He will be a sight to behold as he runs the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners monthly Business Meetings in which the entire commissioners meet and vote on agenda items which is held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 P.M. in the Clayton County Administration Complex on 112 Smith Street in Jonesboro, Georgia knowing that he is powerless, ineffective, neutralized, with no help or support in that the supreme powerful mighty three Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph along with Commissioner Sonna Singleton and Commissioner Gale Hambrick now run the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners, Clayton County Government, Clayton County’s over twenty-five Government Service Departments, and Clayton County in general and it the three do not support him because they won’t, he cannot get any of his corrupt policies passed, can make no decisions, or take no actions, because the three can halt, stop, and undo anything he does with their three vote majority power, command, and authority.

I strongly urge everyone who lives in Clayton County and who care about the state of our county and the direction it is going should attend the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners monthly business meetings where they vote on action agenda items as they make decisions, take actions, and enforce their power and authority over the Department Directors who supervised the over twenty-five government service departments of Clayton County held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month and hold the three accountable, responsible, answerable, liable, and cupable for what they are doing if you feel that they are not taking Clayton County in the direction you think it should go.

I strongly support the powerful three of Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gail Hambrick because I feel that they are intelligent, strong, competent, capable, smart, knowledgeable, and caring leaders who truly care about Clayton County and its citizens and will as they have already started to do “right the wrongs” that have been done to this county and undo the negative, bad, awful, crooked, corrupted, dishonest, shady, and destructive policies, decisions, and actions that were done to Clayton County by its past as well as its present politicians and elected officials such as past Chairman C. Crandle Bray, past Commissioner J. Charley Griswell, past Commissioner Gerald A. Matthews, past Commissioner Virginia B. Gray, present Chairman Eldrin A. Bell, former Sheriff of Clayton County Victor Hill and many others who aided and helped these negative and corrupt elected officials and politicians in their self-serving actions that were not in the best interests of Clayton County and its great citizens.

Elgrin Bell is possibly the “WORST” Commission Chairman this county has even had. The reason he didn’t know the county’s financial situation a month ago is because he was not keeping up with all his “under the table expenditures and shenanigans”.

Between his unauthorized expenditures, contractor’s kickbacks, “smoke filled room” dope deals with the dark horse of the “Pink Pony” and his onset of Alzheimer he don’t have a clue. As we blog he is busy with his Director of Finance trying to “Cook the Books” and “Cover Up” his misdeeds to shield his thievery from external audits and from the “New Power Structure” on the commission.

We as citizens has lost “Focus”, when we first heard of recent county’s financial situation a month ago some on this blog was calling for a “Full Independent Forensic Audit”, now we have backed off. No action against Elgrin at this point will surely spell disaster and media embarrassment later. When it’s all said and done the people to blame will be the fair skinned people of Lake Spivey and the Lower Panhandle.

The citizens of Clayton County as well as the state of Georgia are seeing and experiencing what happens when a corrupt, crooked, dishonest, unethical, on-the-take, give give me and my cronies the money and loot, you got to pay-to-play in Clayton County, self-serving, line and pad all of my pockets, thieving, scheming, devious, and underhanded Chairman Eldrin A. Bell does when his power, authority, and leadership is legally and properly taken away by the three vote majority power and authority of Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gail Hambrick.

Just remember that it was the corrupt, crooked, and thieving decisions and actions by the past Chairman of Clayton County Chairman Crandle Bray and his two commissioners friends and colleagues Commissioner and Past Chairman in the 1970’s and 1980’s J.Charley Griswell and Commissioner Gerald Matthews that did the same thing that Eldrin is accusing Wole, Sonna, and Gail of doing, but these three did not have no one to challenge or question their decisions and actions which led to Clayton County being the negative, corrupt, crooked, “third world” decayed, blighted, deteriorated, nasty, filthy, dirty, overcrowded, ghetto, low class, Section 8 county that it is on a downward spiral and is the laughingstock, bane, scorn, and embarrasement of all of the counties in the state of Georgia.

It seems that when we get elected officials and politicians that try to do the right and proper thing and do good for the citizens of Clayton County like Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gail Hambrick are doing, their decisions and actions get questioned and they are now subject to a lawsuit, but when the crooked, corrupted, and thieving past politicians and elected officials such as Crandle Bray, J. Charley Griswell, Gerald Matthews, Virginia Gray, Victor Hill, Jewel Scott, Eldrin Bell, and others who have done and continue to their corruption, crooked and possible illegal activities in Clayton County, the good people just look away, ignore, or just plain do not care.

The events that have been happening in Clayton County over the past four years from the Clayton County School Board Of Education mess, the governor of the state of Georgia removing four school board members, the loss of accreditation, the mess and lawsuits of the former Sheriff Victor Hill, the now mess and lawsuits of Chairman Bell and the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners shows how the good citizens of Clayton County both black and white just tolerate, ignore, let go on, are too lenient, and just plain do not care and will do nothing about the extreme, widespread, extensive, deep, and far-reaching corruption, graft, crookiness, dishonest, thieving, illegal and unethical activities and actions of the majority of all of Clayton County’s elected officials and politicians and why no one has virtually no hope of Clayton County’s turnaround, improvement, cleasing, or correction for the better.

Remember, the people wouldn’t give Wade Starr what he wanted so he’s found a position to take it now.

Don’t think just about one side of a lawsuit. Which scenario are we better off with: Wade Starr and Wole Ralph running the show, or Eldrin? I realize its pick your poison but which is more potent?

The Clayton County Finance Department as well as all of the over twenty-five Clayton County Government Service Departments need a Full Far-Reaching, Extensive, Comprehensive, and Detailed Forensic Audit done which although would be costly would expose much of the corruption, graft, fraud, embezzlement, stealing, pilfering, unaccouted monies, equipment, and items and would expose all of what has happen to Clayton County SPLOST monies that were suppose to go to the building of new recreation centers, road construction, police precincts etc.

All of the four commissioners (Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioners Sonna Singleton, Gail Hambrick, Michael Edmondson and the corrupt and crooked Chairman Eldrin Bell are strongly opposed to such an audit being done because it would expose all of their crooked, thieving, corrupt, and dishonest friends and campaign contributers and supporters who have stolen from Clayton County presently and in the past and they are protecting these people and others who are connected at all cost at the expense of the good people of Clayton County who know what is going on, but are powerless to do anything about it.

No matter how good the intentions an elected official or politicians are, money always talks and all of Clayton County’s Elected Officials and Politicians especially the entire Clayton County Board Of Commissioners who have to vote and approve that such an audit like the Forensic Audit should be done will not do it because they all know of this corruption, crookiness, graft, dishonest, and illegal activites that their friends, conies, cohorts, campaign supporters and contributors are doing, have already done, and will continue to do in Clayton County and will not do anything about it because they know the citizens of Clayton County, black, white, hispanic, etc. will do nothing about it, will not make a formal complaint to the state of Georgia Board Of Ethics Committee, will not go on the Public Comment Part that is at the end of every Clayton County Board Of Commissioners Meeting and demand that a Forensic Audit be done immediately on the Clayton County Finance Department and all governmental departments of Clayton County because they know the dirty truth will be uncovered and exposed for all to see and read.

Clayton County is not only a visually, visible, and unsightly dirty, nasty, filthy, trashy, polluted, grimey, cluttered, ghetto, third-world, low-class, crime, drug, and gang infested, filled, and overrun county but virtually all of its elected polticians and officials are dishonest, corrupt, dirty, filthy, trashy, ghetto acting, low-class, noncaring, ignorant acting, unintelligent, clueless, immoral, unethical, lacking in integrity and character and are a mirror reflection of Clayton County and its sad, pathetic, and sorry state as well.

The County’s Republician White Elite and Unscrupulous, Unwitting Negroes in Lake Spivey and the Panhandle put Elgrin Bell in office in the first place. Wade was the better man for the job in 2004. However, the county’s whites were afraid of what Wade would do after living all his life under their feet.

So they went for the “Lighter Skinned White Trained Negroes; the white folk used the Willie Lynch Rationale elect Elgrin. The theory being Elgrin being 70 something years old, he’d know how to kneel to the white folk. Little did the whites know we progressive thinking Blacks had a way around Elgrin, the 1/3 white person himself. All we were waiting on was the “Aunt Tom”; V. Gray to move out of the way.

Progressive thinking Blacks can do without “Uncle Toms” giving all our Tax Money away for kickbacks!!!

Elgrin, we can do it again! Let’s run to Sonny and have his Administrative Judge declare the Clayton County Commission “Dysfunctional” and take away the County’s Charter and get those three board members thrown off the board. Then we can hold another “Special Election” and get Clayton County Elections Officer Annie Bright to “Pamper with the Ballot Box again.

Then like before, we can “Select instead of “Elect” two maybe three whites to fill those empty seats; you know just like we did on the School Board with those four Black Girls. Come on, Elgrin it will work! Again! Let’s try it!

I don’t trust Wole Ralph, and I believe (legally speaking) that Commissioner Bell could be right. Do any other counties have a chief of staff? What makes the fire chief qualified to head up offices of which he has no knowledge like the police department, the sheriff’s department, the court systems? Isn’t this essentially the same as Victor Hill’s grab for absolute power? Is this really what the voters want? Shouldn’t it be our decision who runs the different offices of our county? Just some things to think about. I’m not a big fan of commissioner Bell’s, but he always seems to be the lesser of two evils.

It is very disappointing, sad, and pathetic that the citizens of Clayton County has the most ignorant, dumbest, stupid, unintelligent, imbecilic, moroic, and pathetic Chairman as we have in Chairman Eldrin A. Bell.

In today’s Clayton News Daily Friday January 16, 2009 newspaper on its headline page is the article entitled “Bell Sues Fellow Commissioners, Chief Of Staff and the byline under it says “Says they usurped his authority.”

In today’s Atlanta Journal And Constitution newspaper in the Metro Section on Page C4 in the Clayton County News Section on the Community News Page is the article entitled “County Chairman Files Suit Against Officials.

At the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners Business Meeting on Tuesday December 2, 2008, Commissioner Michael Edmondson sponsored a resolution creating the Chief Of Staff position and Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph and Commissioner Sonna Singleton voted with him to form the three vote majority to make this position offical.

Chairman Eldrin Bell cannot go against the decisions of his fellow Commissioners Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, and Commissioners Michael Edmondson, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and now Commissioner Gail Hambrick and undo what all of them have done.

The decisions and actions that all four have taken in the creation and funding of the new Chief Of Staff position is perfectly legal and aboveboard and their is nothing Chairman Bell can do about it

His ignorance, stupidity, lack of intelligence, and just plain dumbness is showing if he thinks filing a lawsuit against his fellow four Commissioners will be successful.

All this is doing is to further weaken and virtually destroy any power, authority, leadership, and respect he has which is virtually nonexistent with his fellow four Commission Colleagues.

Even if he prevails in his lawsuit which of course he will not, his other four Commission Colleagues, Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, Commissioner Gail Hambrick, and Commissioner Michael Edmondson will all band against him and with the use of their voting majority power, authority, and command, will not pass any legislation, policies, ordinances, resolutions he presents or support or agree to any recommendations he may present even if it makes sense as payback for the embarrasement, riducle, and laughingstock he has subjected the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners to with his unnecessary, no chance of winning, stupid, ignorant, and dumb lawsuit filed against them in Clayton County’s Superior Court.

Even the white rich power structure in Clayton County who are mostly in Commissioner Michael Edmondson’s District which is District 4 which includes the rich Lake Spivey area where Chairman Bell lives do not support him because they were the ones who went to Commissioner Michael Edmondson to get him to sponsor and introduce legislation to create the powerful Chief Of Staff position in the first place.

Even Commissioner Michael Edmondson was quoted in today’s Clayton News Daily newspaper as saying “The board (Clayton County Board Of Commissioners) is expressly given complete power, authority, and control relative to all county matters of Clayton County and that all five members of the board however, shall have an equal vote in all matters pertaining to the affairs of Clayton County, and the chairman shall carry out and administer the policies set by the board.”

Chairman Eldrin Bell is so dumb, ignorant, stupid, and unintelligent as to not realize this fact in that all of his fellow Commissioners want, desire, and now have a Chief Of Staff of Clayton County and he cannot do anything about it because their decisions and actions were legal, proper, and aboveboard.

Chairman Eldrin (Corrupted, Crooked, Unethical, Dishonest, Thieving, Scheming, Dirty Hands and Pockets, Self-Serving, On-The-Take, Give Me and my griends and campaign supporters the loot and money, You-Got-To-Pay-The-Play in Clayton County, Underhanded, Devious, Sneaky, Do Not Care About Clayton County or its citizens and constituents) Bell has finally and one and for all has been stopped, neutralized, with all of his power, authority, leadership, command, and control taken away by his fellow four Commission Colleagues Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, Commissioner Gail Hambrick, and the initial sponsor and presenter of the resolution creating the Chief Of Staff position in Clayton County, Commissioner Michael Edmondson.

Yes, change for the better has come to Clayton County.

The sun is starting to shine and even though Clayton County has a very, very long way to go before it can even be a decent, livable, respectable, attractive, and appealing county to live in, at least you have elected officials such as Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, Commissioner Gail Hambrick, and even Commissioner Michael Edmondson making decisions, passing resolutions, policies, procedures, and ordinances, and taking actions to undo the extreme, severe, and extensive wrongs that have been done to Clayton County by the corruption, crooked, unethical, dishonest, thieving, scheming, devious, and underhanded actions by its past and well as some of its present elected officials and politicians.

Hopefully this present team of Clayton County Board Of Commissioners can continue to keep making change for the better for Clayton County and its citizens and keep the sun forever shining bright for Clayton County and its citizens.

In my opinion and practically all of the residents of Clayton County that I’ve spoken with, we have Mr. Bell to thank for the school board problem, gangs being given a free reign, the attrocious comments he made concerning our dead acestry to the acceptance of the Pink Pony and the crime associated with it and more. Why is this man still holding office? He was run out of Fulton County following a disgracefull and atrocious career as a police officer and public official. If it wern’t true why would so many people say the same things. He gave Victor Hill a hard time and it’s true Victor Hill made mistakes, but at least he was shutting down these drug houses and locking up gang members. Corruption breeds corruption. I’m glad you have taken away his rubber stamp. Now lets all work together and start to clean things up. Please!!!

By Things to remember

January 16, 2009 5:49 PM | Link to this

While we are remembering that Bell won the last election, let’s not forget the other board members in this new majority won their elections as well.

And while we are witnessing Bell dragging the county into yet more dysfunction by claiming a political opponent overstepped his bounds, let’s remember his role in costing the school system its accreditation by doing the same thing.

Also, never, ever, forget his main reason for his role in costing the system its accreditation wasn’t for the betterment of the county, it was for helping a political crony, for as soon as the crony was removed from the picture, so was Edrin’s so called concern for the school system.

Even if you don’t agree with the new voting block, even if you don’t trust them as far as you can throw them, to somehow paint Saint Eldrin as a martyr who’s only looking out for the citizens, is like saying Pacman Jones is merely advocating for women’s rights when he makes it rain in a strip club. Not very credible, to say the least.

Look at what we have got from our elected officials in Clayton County! Nothing but shame and dishonor while out taxes go up! None of them are any good! The whites in the county voted overwhelmingly for Elgrin, both times, so now the whites get what they paid for. Of course, the whites are the ones funding Elgrin’s lawsuit. Because with Elgrin out of power the whites Loss Money; that the only thing they ever give a damn about.

The whites of Clayton are like the typical white in the south. The white in the south didn’t vote for Obama because they think Obama will do something for Black Folk; Clayton white didn’t vote for Wade because they though Wade would do something for Blacks in Clayton.

By Just Stating The Facts

The truth is that the Supreme Fantastic Four voting majority of Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, Commissioneer Gail Hambrick and Commissioner Michael Edmondson have totally, completely, absolutely, and fully neutralized, stripped, taken away, negated, and nullified all of Chairman Eldrin A. Bell’s power, authority, command, control, and leadership in Clayton County. This is a true fact whether you like it or not.

Even if Chairman Bell prevails in getting the Chief Of Staff position removed by a court of law which will not happen because the steps, resolution, and vote to create the position was perfectly legal and aboveboard, he will still have no power, authority, command, leadership, or control to do anything in Clayton County because the four vote super majority power, authority, and might of the Fantastic Four Clayton County Board Of Commissioners Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, Commissioner Gail Hambrick, and Commissioner Michael Edmondson will vote against him, will oppose him in every way, and halt and stop any resolutions, rules, ordinances, and policies he tries to submit because they have the legal power and authority to do so. This is a fact and the truth.

All of you need to remember that it just takes a majority vote of three to pass or stop any policy, resolution, rule, or ordinance in Clayton County.

* We already have the three vote supreme majority on the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners in the three voting bloc of Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gale Hambrick and these three really control and now run Clayton County. They do not need Commissioner Michael Edmondson’s vote and he knows this. Really, Commissioner Edmondson is as powerless and noneffective as Chairman Eldrin Bell. It is my personal opinion that he is a person of good common sense and will join forces with the supreme three and making it a Supreme Super Fantastic Four Super Majority because the bottome line is that he has no choice in the matter if he wants to remain an effective Commissioner for his District which is the super white and black rich District Four which has the finest, largest, and most luxurious homes in Clayton County in this is where Lake Spivey is.*

For these two years January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010, Chairman Eldrin Bell can do nothing in Clayton County. He is powerless, ineffective, and and strengthless Chairman and for these two years while the present four Commissioners reign Vice-Chairman and the real Chairman of Clayton County Wole Ralph and the other three Commissioners Sonna Singleton, Commissioner Gail Hambrick, and Commissioner Michael Edmondson will run and control clayton County, all Chairman Bell will be doing is just being an empty figurehead and an empty mouthpiece and as long as the four continue to follow the rules, laws, and do not get involved in any illegal activites or do anything egregiously wrong that could cause them to be recalled or removed from the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners, they will continue to rule, reign, command, govern, control, and lead in Clayton County.

The only small glimmer of hope for Chairman Eldrin A. Bell is when the Commissioner of District One Commissioner Sonna Singleton and the Commissioner of District Four Commissioner Michael Edmondson terms are up for reelection which will be held in the summer of 2010, he can find two of his cronies in these Districts to run against them and if he does this and they win, then when January 1, 2011 comes, he will have his three vote majority power back.

The above scenario will not happen because the only District Commission Seat that is really important is District Commission Seat Number One which is Sonna Singleton’s seat and she is an exceptioal and excellent Commissioner who I fill will defect any and all who go up against her. Commissioner Sonna Singleton is well-liked and well-respected in her District and when the summer of 2010 comes, she will single-handedly win reelection by a super majority margin, and retain her District Seat for another four years from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2014. Commission Distrct Seat Number Four is to no effect because as all of you know, it takes three votes to pass or defeat any ordinance, resolution, or rules on the Clayton County Board Of commissioners and we already have the three vote majority for the next two years and with the reelection of Commissioner Sonna Singleton in the summer of 2010, we will continue to have the three vote majority supreme power in Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gail Hambrick.

It is very comforting, great, reassuring, and encouraging that the Supreme Powerful and Mighty three vote majority power, command, authority, control, and governing decision and action voting power is in the three of Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph, Commissioner Sonna Singleton, and Commissioner Gail Hambrick who will run Clayton County the right, successful, and great way and that the ineffective, corrupt, crooked, dishonest, underhanded, devious, treacherous, negative, unsuccessful, unproductive, distruthworthy, inefficient, incompetent, unskilled, inept, shiftless, amaterurish, and bumbling wrong leadership that Chairman Eldrin Bell gave Clayton County during his first four-year term as Chairman of Clayton County is no more and in his second four-year term as Chairman of Clayton County, he is just a powerless, useless figurehead and mouthpiece, and is stripped of any power, authority, command, control, leadership, and governing ability totally, fully, absolutely, and completely forever in Clayton County.

Ms. Allen, what you are witnessing is a resurrection of the power tier that destroyed this county. There is a connection between Wole/Singleton and Hill who has a connection with Starr who has a connection to Scott who has a connection to Crandle Bray.

This is not a good sign. Most of the damage brought to this county has been done through what used to be the County Administrator’s office which was headed by Bray under Griswell, then later Starr under Bray.

Eldrin was wise to eliminate that pit full of big money vipers. Wole Ralph has also benefited financially in that dark place.

Again, THIS POWER PLAY INDICATES THAT A U-TURN IS UNDERWAY TAKING US BACK TO H3LL.

The same Eldrin whose claim that he was only stepping in for the children was quickly contradicted by the fact that he just as quickly stepped out after those who he had personal relationships with left the board?

Not that Eldrin. That Eldin has always been above reproach. Must be a different Eldrin.
