Can Clayton lure new businesses?

A few new businesses are trickling into Clayton County. At a time when much of the attention is focusing on problems in the school system, it’s refreshing to learn new jobs are being created. Read my latest blog entry on Wordpress

Keeping the faith in 2009

This time last year, I wrote that we should “Make Clayton Great in 2008”. There is still work to do but if we keep the faith and most importantly come together as a community, we can and will turn things around. Despite what naysayers claim, all hope is not lost.

Recently, blogger Oh Please stated “Clayton County is not that bad. Politically speaking it is a mess, but it’s a mess that we can recover from if people are willing to try. Clayton is not the first county or the only county in this state to go over-budget. The accreditation issue sucks, but some school year in the future, we will get it back … Unfortunately, there are so many people in this world that thrive on the misfortunes of others, and they like having an entire county to poke fun at, so they are always looking for something wrong.

Well, I don’t think that Clayton County is any worse than any other in Georgia.” I totally agree with this blogger, do you?

Although we experienced a lot of bad this year, we did get some things right by voting in a new district attorney, solicitor general and sheriff who I believe (in conjunction=2 0with the Clayton County Police Department and especially with the assistance of Clayton residents) will begin to lower crime here. Clayton Commissioners hired a new Chief of Staff. District 2 gets a new commissioner who will hopefully bring contemporary views and a spirit of cohesiveness to the Board. Despite the odds (and those who refused to resign) we replaced the entire school board, who will hopefully restore accreditation soon and help reclaim our schools. Although election turnout was disappointingly low given the circumstances, determined Clayton voters provided a fresh start instead of the status quo.

Blogger Mercy440 recently requested that I write a blog asking “What have you done for Clayton County to make it better?” What I’d like to know is, how will YOU contribute to making Clayton better in 2009?

Happy New Year Clayton! Keep the Faith and our county in prayer.

Good Afternoon Kimberly,

I regret to inform you of this fact but sad to say that Clayton County is the absolute county in the state of Georgia.

There is virtually no hope for Clayton County’s eventual recovery.

The negative, trashy, filthy, and criminally-minded Section 8 people from all of the dangerous, dirty, and crime infested housing projects and ghettos of Atlanta, Georgia along with the other trash from other counties have moved to Clayton County and are the main reason along with virtually all of the corrupt, untrustworthy, crooked, and noncaring elected officials and politicians both past and present that Clayton County is the worst, dirtiest, crime and gang filled, crime and gang ridden, crime and gang infested filthiest, nastiest, county in the state of Georgia.

Clayton County is on a very serious, fast, and downward free-fall and spiral with no hope of ever becoming a respectable, clean, appealing, and attractive county where right, upstanding, law abiding, morally upright, and caring families of all races, creed, and middle to high socioeconomic status and standing would ever come to live, work, play, and raise a family.

Thank you so much, Ms. Kimberely.

It is nice to know that optimism is still appreciated. There is hope for this county. If only we could rid ourselves of those who desire to destroy it!

I too have optimism for Clayton County. We’ve made great progress this last election. However, getting SACS accreditation back is essential or we will see many more problems arise.

We must remember that over the course of the entire project relocation process of the last decade or more in Atlanta, fewer than 300 families have actually made it to Clayton County. Most have stayed in Atlanta. We can’t blame it on them. We must blame those already living here for not holding those newcomers to higher standards.

Kimberly,

Newly elected officials are not the answer citizens have to hold them accountable. Starting with the new school board. They all pledged to get our accreditation back. We must hold them to their campaign promises. the first step to turning Clayton around is to get our accreditation reinstated and revive the search for superintendent. Even Ray Charles can see that.

Kimberly thanks so much for this blog.

I as well as others have optimism for Clayton County. I think that there are some great things going on in the county that aren’t promoted. Unfortunately good news doesn’t sell the news.

Clayco got it right with the election of Sheriff Kimbrough, DA Graham-Lawson and Solicitor General Mosely. I believe those 3 will be the harbingers of the great things to come in the county. I know that we will finally have all law enforcement entities working together in synergy and harmony.

As far as the naysayers and hate mongers that remain in the county I say get on board or get left. We don’t have time for your hate or negative comments as they are just that.

Clayco its time to work together.

Obstacles are rulers of the weak but, weapons of the wise.

It is very good to have optimism about Clayton County and what it could be and be positive about its future but the facts remain is that Clayton County continues to get dirtier, nastier, and filthier each and every day.

Look very hard as you travel down Clayton County’s main streets, roads, and thoroughfares such as Tara Boulevard, Mount Zion Road, Battlecreek Road, Old Dixie Highway, Flint River Road, State Road 85, State Road 138, State Road 139, State Road 54, State Road 42, Upper Riverdale Road, Frontage Road, Valley Hill Road, East Fayetteville Road, Webb Road, Pointe South Parkway, and other lesser known Clayton County roads and you will see firsthand and for yourself the dirty, nasty, dingy, filthy, and cluttered apartment homes, town homes, extended stay hotels and motels, gas stations, run down convenient stores, strip retail malls, trailer home and mobile home parks and even the Walmart stores, and grocery stores such as Publix, Kroger, and other stores in Clayton County are nasty and filthy as opposed to their counterpart stores in other counties such as Fayette, Henry, Spalding, Coweta, etc. which are clean, well maintained, neat, and well stocked.

The fact of the matter is that for every one citizen who truly cares about this county and goes regularly to the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners meetings and speaks out during the Public Comment Section to urge the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners and its Chairman to supervise the departments that are in charge of enforcing our County Code Ordinances, Rules, and Regulations and order the other departments to do their jobs, there are hundreds of citizens who move to this county who just do not care and do harm to this county by bringing their criminally minded ways, their lazy, sorry, apathetic, and pathetic ways, behaviors, and actions to this county and not only undo the positive and productive actions of a few, but set this county back.

The fact is that Clayton County is now a county with more renters (presently at 65 percent and growing) than homeowners.

The fact is that Clayton County is now and has been for the last ten-to-fifteen years a dumping ground for all of the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s Section 8 and other low class, housing projects and ghetto living people and this is why people of all races, creed, and middle-to-high socioeconomic status and standing are moving back to the city of Atlanta, Georgia while virtually all of the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s losers, ghetto living, ghetto minded, low class, lazy, sorry, pathetic living people, and youths, young adults, and teen-agers with crime, gang, thuggish, violent, drug dealing ways, behaviors, and activities are quickly moving to Clayton County to set up “shop” and continue their criminal ways.

The fact is that Clayton County’s crime rate has skyrocketed with Burglaries and Robberies leading the way.

The fact is that the Clayton County cities of Riverdale and College Park are the most dangerous and crime filled cities in Clayton County as well as the unincorporated areas of Clayton County mainly because they have the most apartment homes, and are the dumping ground of the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s Section 8 population.

The fact is that virtually all of Clayton County’s past white elected commissioners(Crandle Bray, Charlie Griswell, Gerald Matthews) as well as their present black elected commissioners (Eldrin Bell, Wole Ralph, Sonna Singleton, Virginia Gray, as well as the lone white commissioner Michael Edmondson have not pass any laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations that have worked for the best interest of the citizens of Clayton County nor the County itself.

The fact is that Clayton County both past white population and its present black population have also been apathetic, indifferent, noncaring, and do not hold the people who they elected into political office accountable, answerable, and responsible for the decisions that they make that for the most part have hurt, harm, and damage this county beyond repair.

It is good to be optimistic, and be positive, and want to see good in Clayton County but the facts about Clayton County are the facts, it is what it is in Clayton County, all that I have stated in this blog is getting more worse each and every day, the truth is the truth, and the sad truth is that Clayton County is rapidly becoming a third world, low class, ghetto looking, dingy looking, nasty, filthy, unclean, deteriorating, blighted, crime, gang, and drug infested, crime, gang, and drug ridden, crime, gang and drug filled county that looks like the worst housing projects of the city of Atlanta, Georgia where every day as you drive down Tara Boulevard, Mount Zion Road, and Upper Riverdale Road, you will see thuggish and criminal looking youths, young adults, and teen-agers with sagging pants and criminal intent on their minds.

Clayton County will recover once the current crop of politicians are ousted. Look at the school board, all members had to be replaced before the healing process could begin. Same with the commissioners. They should all be replaced with those who want to serve instead of self serve. The problem is not with section 8 low income renters, it’s with the leadership of our county. There are more good people in Clayton County than bad people. The giant must awaken. The silent majority of Clayton County is not engaged and until they fih=gure out that their quality of life is directly related to the local election, they will continue to ignore the obvious.

Mr. Stewart,

Kimbrough, Graham-Lawson and Mosley can not get our accreditation reinstated. They represent law enforcement. Let us not get confused. The mark of a forward moving and progressive county is not based on the sheriff, attorney general and solicitor general. They are not the leadership of the county.

Our children need the leadership of our elected officials who are responsible for their education to do their jobs effectively. Their first test is our accrediation. The actions of the school board members will determine whether or not we can attract other middle class families to Clayton.

WAKE UP!!!

Clayton County will never improve until we (in this order):

  • get rid of all currently (old) elected officials, starting with Chairman Bell. The Commissioners manage the money and set policy for how the county operates. We need some good fiscially conservative leaders who will say no to the developers, no to Stephens, no to the Griswells, and no to anything that attracts low income people - i.e no more low income developments, no more title loans or pawn shops, no more gas stations, no more furniture rentals, no more stip malls, etc.

  • change zoning ordinances to not allow any more low income housing. Immement Domain all slum lords and all places where owners do not take care of the property - enforce all Codes. Stop the Section-8ers from moving here. Dismantle the Jonesboro Housing Authority as they allow the trash to settle here with little oversight. HUD needs to take over. HUID has an orderly process - no felonies and no complaints or your Section 8 is REVOKED!!!

  • Raise taxes - sorry but money keeps out trash (see Fayette). Voters should not approve any more SPLOST projects UNTIL all the promised facilities are built! Hold them accountable for constructing every last senior center, police building and recreational hall.

  • Aggressively police the county and sentence all criminals to max time. ZERO TOLERANCE i.e Mayor Gulianni. Victor tried but failed since he was not man enough to do the job. Make Clayton inhospitable for criminals and gangs. Close all teen clubs. Make Clayton the place gangs do NOT to commit crimes in.

  • Hold parents accountable. Lower child/youth curfews to 10pm weekdays. If a child skips school, do like Dekalb and throw the parents in jail. Since many of these lowlifes who have no active fathers too, order bench warrents for FATHERS to do time too. Only a DNA test sets you free (if the trick lied). Kids who cut school/miss over 1 week - weekly names turned over to the Police and police go to the home. We need a REAL ANTI-GANG Unit that will arrest parents if child not under control, in school, etc. Pull Section 8 vouchures too. Do these things and watch the trash blow out of Clayton County. LOL!

  • If you have the balls, that is…..

    ITS TIME FOR CHANGE

By The Facts Are The Facts

    December 29, 2008 3:26 PM | Link to this

Being optimistic and positive does not cover up or change the facts about Clayton County and what has already happen to Clayton County.

Clayton County has a very serious gang problem with the main gangs in Clayton being Hispanic Gangs with the Black Gangs a close second.

Clayton County Police Department Chief Of Police Jeffrey Turner, Deputy Chief Greg Porter who is over the Gang, Drugs, and Narcotic Division Unit of the Clayton County Police Department as well as Deputy Chief Tim Robinson who is over all of the Uniform Police Patrol Division of the Clayton County Police Department will confirm these facts also.

Clayton County has been overrun with gangs ever since 1996 when the housing project population of the City of Atlanta, Georgia started to move to Clayton County when they began to close up their dangerous crime, drug, and gang infested housing projects like Techwood Homes, East Lake Meadows, etc.

Every one who lived in Clayton County in 2005 remembered the fatal shooting of the child in Riverdale in the park that now bears his name. This fatal shooting was done by rival black gang members shooting at each other in the park and this child and his grandmother got caught in the crossfire.

Any police officer will tell you to be extremely cautious and careful when you see a group of youths, young adults, and teen-agers wearing same colored clothing, baggy pants that show their undergarments, long oversized tee-shirts of the same color, long oversized thick jackets, sweaters, or coats, and big and large hoods that cover their entire head and face.

This type of clothing can conceal very dangerous weapons, guns, knifes, switchblades, etc. that they can use to rob, steal, carjack, or do one bodily harm.

The truth of the matter is that these criminally minded youths, young adults, and teen-agers who are members of gangs wear these clothing and they walk in large numbers up and down Tara Boulevard, Flint River Road, Upper Riverdale Road, Mount Zion Road, Battlecreek Road, and all around the low class, dirty, nasty, and filthy apartment homes that line not only the mentioned above streets but State Road 138, State Road 139, State Road 85 etc.

Some of these youths, young adults, and teen-agers openly sell their illegal drugs and narotics at the gas stations that line the above streets and the apartment homes boldly for all to see without fear of the Clayton County Police Department or the Police Departments in the cities where they reside.

This is the ugly, raw, blunt, direct truth of the youths, young adults, and teen-agers that have come from the housing projects and ghettos of Clayton County and this is how Clayton County looks now, will look even worst in 2009 and way beyond until all of the apartments homes, town homes, mobile home parks, and extended stay motels and hotels that are blighted, in disrepair and deteriorating are condemned, demolished, and destroyed and all of these people are kicked out of Clayton County just like they were kicked out of the housing projects and ghettos of Atlanta, Georgia when they cleaned up their projects and now they have nice, upscale, and luxurious mixed use work-live-play communities.

If we can be grateful for anything in Clayton, it’s John Thompson and the wonderful new school board. The change Thompson has brought about in a few short months is nothing short of amazing.

You simply can’t underestimate the admiration that students and staff have for Thompson. It’s no wonder that Thompson has been called Clayton’s very own Obama, such is the respect students and teachers have for him.

Nowhere is this more evident than in student behavior. The behaviors that teachers have complained about are a thing of the past. Students fell in line quickly, very quickly, when they saw Thompson’s commanding presence and realized he was here for them.

Because Thompson has completely backed his teachers, the reverence that students have for Thompson has been translated into total respect for teachers.

Where hallways were once total chaos, especially in the middle and high schools, they are now quiet and orderly. Walk into any high school and you’ll think you’ve walked into an exclusive private school. Gone is the cursing and disrespect that was once common; students now routinely address teachers with yes sir, and no sir, something thought impossible until Thompson and this wonderful new board came along.

Turns out the naysayers were totally wrong about Clayton County schools. All that was needed to turn things around was a world class superintendent and a first class board. There is no doubt that Clayton has both. Walk into any school, into any classroom for that matter, and you’ll see a transformation that many thought not possible in our lifetimes.

The thanks, and the credit, go to Thompson and the new board that has now been assembled around him. With a world class superintendent and a first rate board, no doubt that the words world class, and first rate will soon become synonymous with Clayton County schools.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will happen in 2009. It will take more than a few years to undo the damage that has been wrought in this county.

We must first eliminate the total lack of respect for one another that is so obvious in the form of racial bias or hatred that took less than two dozen posts to rear its ugly head on this blog.

Once we the people of Clayton County have overcome that, we will begin making progress towards bringing the county out of the gutter.

    To Taxpayer & Citizen

Thank you for your comments. I am in wholehearted agreement with you. I however look at things from a holistic view. We need all forms of our local gov’t to our school board to work together to turn the county around. Let’s be honest, at this point we need the hand of the law to be heavy in the county. This will show parents to students to criminals that we mean business in the county and won’t tolerate mess.

You made a great point in stating that we need to hold our School board members accountable. Well we need to be on our job to do so. Let’s make sure our voices are heard at the board meetings. Let’s make sure we are informed of board and county happenings. Trust me their our information venues via the web that will give you tremendous insight as to what goes on in the county. I am very optimistic that the board will regain its accreditation come April. I am also confident that the incoming board members have a heart to work and get the job done. What I will say is that we need to keep our eyes on board members that have ties back to Trotter, Scotts & certain members of Riverdale gov’t (it’s not hard to find out who they are and unfortunately may draw them out of the shadows with this comment)

We didn’t get in the mess overnight and won’t get out of it overnight. If we have a commitment and a passion to work together we will change the County!!

Here’s some more facts, you say demographic change—I say progress in some cases. You are an idiot if you think things in Clayton suppose to stay the same as they were 30, 20 or even 10 years ago when Clayton was a Mayberry of the old TV show the Clayton you grew up in.

Then you say gang shootings—every shooting is not “Gang” shootings no matter how your folks will label them—seek truth there, there are plenty idiots with guns, you even host “Gun Shows” monthly. The murder and crime rates are a sign of the times; you rich folk took all the jobs- what did you expect? Clayton is just “Mirroring” the larger society; look at crime rate within the metro, they all have increased.

Then your simple-minded butt will scream about the 2000 & 2004 election. Clown, you created the worse “Monster” nationally with Bush twice, then you’ll talk about qualifications and competences—Pleasssse! The 2000 & 2004 elections locally slated some good officials; however, you managed to smear and tarnish their images on the newspapers and TV because you didn’t like their color.

Then you said, on January 20 we are going to have a president of color, damn a black man through staying in school, applying himself, working hard, has achieved the most powerful position on the planet. How did he do that with all the cards stacked against him? Believe me, it wasn’t “EASY” Barack is like all blacks who have succeed against odds and with you viciously staking the deck—its called perseverance. The main thing rickman and Hummm, need to remember is 400 years of oppression is not going to be overcome in the last 40 years of so-called “Equal—Civil Rights. That’s unrealistic—maybe in about 4 more generations. It’s called “Patience”. You created the “Monster” you deal with it!!!!!

The main problem in Clayton County is that over 65 percent of the residents who live are renters that are mostly from the housing projects and ghettos from the city of Atlanta, Georgia who do not care about living right, maintaining the property where they stay, and are only committed to being lazy, worthless, trashing up, and tearing down Clayton County with their ghetto, criminally minded, and thug-gangster-criminal mentality and way of living.

These renters are using their Section 8 housing vouchers to move to the numerous, glut, and proliferation of apartment homes, town homes, mobile homes, and extended stay motels and hotels but because of the severe drop in home prices in Clayton County and the massive increase in the number of foreclosed homes in Clayton County and the other homes that the owners are putting up for rent because they cannot sale their homes with many of these homes in very nice neighborhoods, the ghetto housing project people from the city of Atlanta, Georgia use their Section 8 Vouchers and move into these homes which are in nice, stable, clean, and well-kept neighborhoods, communities, and subdivisions.

Instead of adding to the community, these Section 8 housing project ghetto families bring their negative, ghetto, low class, noncaring, lazy, and apathetic attitudes, behaviors, and actions to the community, and in a very short time, their property becomes full of trash, litter, clutter, with overgrown grass, weeds, and dirty, unkept landscaping.

In time, their home becomes run downed, decayed, blighted, and deteriorated because they do not make the simple, quick, and neccessary minor repairs and maintainence to the homes that they either rent or buy.

Eventually, the community and subdivision in which they live becomes over time a blighted, decayed, deteriorated, nasty, filthy, and dirty subdivision because as more of their kind moves in, the other people who care about their house and property and maintained it and kept it clean will move out and away from the ghetto, low class, lowlife, lazy, shiftless, worthless people that come from the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s ghetto housing projects.

This is what is happening all throughout Clayton County and one can be optimistic, positive, hopeful, and confident that Clayton County will become better in 2009 but until these Section 8 renters that are from the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s housing projects and ghettos stop moving into the county and the ones that are already here move out and we get more of the right, professional, highly educated, upstanding, and high upper middle people and families of all races, creed, nationalities, who bring solid right values, morals, and strong work ethics moving into this county, Clayton County will continue to be the extremely, rapidly, and free falling county that is on a downward spiral to the cesspool of crime, gang and drug infested, crime, gang and drug ridden, crime, gang and drug infected haven for all of the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s housing project ghetto trash that have already moved here in great numbers with this county already being the most dirtiest, nastiest, filthiest, unclean, unlivable, corrupt, crooked, seedy, run-down, ghettorized, gangster, thuggish, third world county that it already is.

There is virtually no hope for Clayton County’s eventual reserval, turnaround, or recovery in the new year of 2009 or beyond.

I wish I could agree with “Praise Thompson and the new board”. All I see is the same type of improvement Atlanta Public Schools has done- a great PR job with no substance behind it. I do not know of any teacher or student who has any better opinion of Thompson than any previous leadership.

Thompson is all smoke and mirrors, with no substance. There is much to hope for with the new Board. Their first big test will be the decision about whether to re-new Thompson or not.

What am I going to do this year? Not give up on Clayton County. Also, not be a part of any sugarcoating of what is going on, because I know things can be better than they are now. Anyone who participates in painting any better picture than what is really going on is part of the problem and tries to make us satisfied with how things are and has no vision.

One last comment- Clayton is going to get worse before it gets better, just like the rest of the nation. We have not bottomed out on the economy. We have not bottomed out on the state of public education. We have not bottomed out on crome or any of the other problems we have. We need to bottom out because that is the only way we will regain the common will to improve things. Until people do not just move to Henry to escape, and see a need to improve things where they are, nothing will get better.

When the school officials along with other elected officials met with the Clayton County Legistative Delegation which consist of Clayton County’s elected officials to the State of Georgia’s House Of Representatives and Senate, they admitted that the school system needs more money due to the loss of over three thousand students because of the loss of accrediation and how the school system numbers should increase and rise again with the influx of students from the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s housing projects that are closed and the other projects that are in the process of closing such as Bowen Homes, Jonesboro North and South, Thomasville Heights, etc. and how they come with special needs.

The over three thousand students that left the Clayton County School System had parents who had the money, means, and connections to take their children out of the school system and either put them in private schools or have them move in with relatives who live in Fayette County or Henry County and attend their school system.

Clayton County High Schools have always had truancy issues and problems which will be confirmed for all to know when the audited attendance records report that SACS are forcing the Clayton County School System to do are finalized and released.

The Clayton County Police Department High Ranking Officials can also confirmed that the Clayton County School System has a very high truancy rate and these middle and high school’s youths, young adults, and teen-agers do not go to school, do not care about school, and get together with their other buddies and others of their kind which are virtually all of the Section 8 housing projects and ghetto youths from the city of Atlanta, Georgia and commit juvenile crimes such as robbery, burglaries, vandalisms, etc.

This is a true fact which can be easily confirmed if you take the time to get crime statistics from the Clayton County Police Department.

Clayton County is a safe haven and now is home to the massive amount of youths, young adults, teen-agers, and adults from the Section 8 housing projects and ghettos from Atlanta, Georgia.

All elected officials from Clayton County and the city of Atlanta know this.

They all know that the Jonesboro Housing Authority which controls the Section 8 program in Clayton County is allowing all of this to happen and do not, will not, and will probably never enforce the rules, regulations, laws, and federal government guidelines governing the Section 8 program.

Just in today’s The Atlanta Journal And Constitution Newspaper on the headlines of the paper Tuesday December 30, 2008 in the article entitled “When Home Prices Fall, Taxes Can” it talks about how the real estate and foreclosure crises have played havoc with property values in Atlanta and how wide areas in North Clayton have so many bank-owned properties that have flooded the market and how home values have plummeted across whole neighborhoods.

These are some of the blunt, sad, direct, truths about the severe problems in Clayton County that will not change but only worsen in the year of 2009 where the only people living in Clayton County are the Section 8 housing projects and ghetto youths, young adults, teen-agers and families who are renters and who will bring more of their negative lifestyles, values, attitudes, laziness, noncaring, destructive, vandalistic, criminal, crime committing, drug dealing and distributing, gang activity, and immoral actions while the upstanding, morally upright, caring, concerned, Clayton County citizens and families who do the right thing and live the right way will be greatly outnumbered and overwhelmed by these negative lowlifes and low-class people along with virtually all of the crooked, corrupt, devious, untrustworthy, unethical, thieving, dishonest, and double dealing white as well as black elected officials of Clayton County who caused and are allowing all of this to happen and occur which has caused Clayton County to become the run-down, dilapidated, neglected, blighted, deteriorated, decayed, crime, gang, and drug infested county that it is and is the laughingstock, bane, and embarrasement of counties in the state of Georgia.

The Facts are the Facts - Being long-winded doesn’t give your posts validity. Yes, much of what you say is true, but repeating yourself day in and day out isn’t going to change anything. Rather than wagging fingers and blaming an entire race of people for the condition of our municipality, why don’t you try inspiring a young, black youth to become better than the stereotype you insist on projecting on them? The real truth is the downfall of our society, as a whole, is complacency. Parents, teachers, and other would-be role models do not care about those youths so their values become askew. Voters and citizens do not care enough about their homes and property to elect officials that are capable of dealing with the growing crime problem related to youth growing up without morals or values. In the end, the only real way to solve this problem is to care enough to take action, and not harp on and on about a problem that seems to overwhelming to deal with.

Teachers also are very concerned that the School District will force them to sign contracts early this year again without knowing how accreditation will turn out. Only this time, many are prepared to walk if this happens.

CCPS is going to lose even more good teachers if the system can not show respect for workdays and give us the workday that was planned in the schedule for Monday, January 5, 2009!

Stealing time from teachers for a stupid “High Schools that Work” seminar is NOT the way to get on our good side. I don’t see the middle schools and elementary school teachers having their work day taken away. Do not hold high school teachers hostage, let us have our workday back!

I would think CCPS would be trying to keep the competent teachers instead of running us off. You have angered every teacher that I know and it is little things like this that make us wonder if we are truly appreciated by the system. Moves like this make me contemplate moving to another system more and more. I’m not like your poor TAPP teachers, that have to stay for three years or pay to get away.

Don’t think waiting until the Monday before the holidays made this any more palatable. I was COUNTING on that workday to actually get work done. To not be able to work in my classroom and get things ready for a new semester makes me wonder, does anyone really work in the Central Office? Whose BRILLANT idea was it to take a workday, force high school teachers to travel other schools and still in classrooms for a workday? To make it fair, it should have been all the teachers that suffered, not just the high school teachers, but hey, we’re expendable.

Good luck with your “High Schools That Work” thing, because I plan on doing absolutely nothing with the “training” you are forcing me to go to. Wait, I take that back, I plan on remembering this and the next time someone asks me to do something extra, or give extra time, I’ll just remember this waste of a day and say “No, I’m sorry, I can’t!”

I wish you all would quit blaming section 8 dwellers- you need to blame these wanna be thugs in the 200k houses and their lazy parents who rather buy rims instead of educating their children and cutting their lawns. Ignorance has no color because now we have whites and hispanics imitating the same bad decisions. We bring out the worse in our community because we refuse to do what’s right and instead we cosign the wrong. We uphold bad behvaior, anything else is acting white. You know damn well the issue is us and until we address our community we cannot comment on others perceptions of us. Now white folks have a evil side but for the most part we all want the same things in life - the only difference is we still think we are entitled to the dream. The founders promised the “pursuit” not the dream and anything else is up to you. I am responisble for my family not anyone else and until you so call activists realize this— we will continue to stay in these conditions. I dare you to ask my background because your feelings will get hurt.

Thompson has been the key to the dramatic turnaround in the schools. He’s really energized the students and the teachers with his compassionate, yet take charge attitude.

I would think the first order of business for the new board is to make sure Thompson stays. It might require a major boost in pay to retain his services, but I think this new board is strong enough to ignore the naysayers and do what is needed to keep Thompson, considering all that he’s accomplished in such a short time.

What has Thompson specifically done to be the “key to the dramatic turnaround in the schools”? Please be more specific. What are the indicators of a major turnaround that can be specifically attributed to Thompson? What are examples of his “compassion”? What has he accomplished other than “energized the students and the teachers”, which I dispute as a fact. Energized them to do what?

I am not saying that he has done absolutely nothing. He has done a few things, such as recognized the lack of experience in the administrative leadership of CCPS. I am not aware of anything he has done to address the problem, but at least in this one instance he has not tried to hide the problem.

And how can anyone argue for a “major boost in pay to retain his services”? Even if he were doing an exemplary job, how could anyone make this argument at a time of such major budget problems (most of which are not his fault and are beyond his control) while he is already compensated waaaaay beyond anyone else in the area?

What kind of leadership would that be for Thompson to ask for greater compensation at this time? Sounds like the bonuses given to the Wall Street sharks even after the government bailouts began.

To renew Thompson’s contract would be to agree with the aggressive attitude against SACS by Thompson and his unjustified statements of succes that have prolonged this problem even more. That would not be a sign of strength for this new Board. A sign of strength would be to open up the process, let Thompson apply and compete with any others who apply, and ensure that the best person be in place next year. If the above poster is right, that person may very well be Thompson. Anyone who feels Thompson should remain should not be afraid of an open, competitive process.

These white folks have had all the advantages to get ahead all their lives because of skin color “Alone” but couldn’t make it; now they are reduced to living in Clayton with poor little downtrodden Negro. Then they’d cry about what the poor little downtrodden Negro didn’t achieve in the 40 years since Equal/Civil Rights Act in 1968.

Read today’s Clayton Neighbor Newspaper which is dated Wednesday December 31, 2008 entitled “Clayton Jobless Rate Tops 8.5 percent” which states in the very first paragraph “Clayton County has suffered an “avalanche” of factors contributing to its unemployment rate which not only is the highest in the Atlanta metro region but tops the entire state of Georgia.”

In the last paragraph of the article, it states and I quote: Another contributing factor to the county’s unemployment, Ms. Seay believes is Clayton’s high transient population. “Clayton has a glut of apartments, which do not produce the tax revenue as property owners do,” she said.

As I have stated in the previous blogs, all of Clayton County’s Elected Officials, the Clayton County Board Of Commissioners, the Clayton County School Board Of Education, and other people in high places in Clayton County know the ugly, real, blunt, direct, and dismal truth about Clayton County in that Clayton County is now a home and refuge place for the all of the Section 8 low income housing project people that continue to bring down this county.

As I have stated many times in this blog, they know the truth in what the Atlanta Housing Authority under the leadership of Renee Glover is doing in sending all of these housing project people to Clayton County and the corrupt, crooked, unqualified, incompetent, incapable, and useless Jonesboro Housing Authority which controls the Section 8 housing program in Clayton County has opened the door wide and big for all to come because they do not, will not, and do not care to enforce the laws, rules, regulations, and government guidelines and protocols that govern and run the Section 8 programs nationwide.

You can have all of the hope you choose to have. You can think positive about the turnaround for the better of Clayton County. You can be in a serious state of denial, ignorance, and refuse to acknowledge and accept the present and right now truth about Clayton County and its deplorable, dismal, awful, disgraceful, sad, wretched, and miserable state, appearance, and condition.

The truth, facts, and reality are that Clayton County is a county filled with a rental and transient, and fly-by-night population of people who do not care about living the right way and keeping our county clean and only bring their negative and destructive lifestyles and way of living to this county.

The truth, facts, and reality is that Clayton County is filled with corrupt, crooked, incompetent, incapable, thieving, unfit, unqualified, and unsuitable elected officials both past and present, white and black who are self-serving, and only look out for their own interests and how they can line and pad their pockets and do not care about the interests of the Clayton County.

Until the good citizens of Clayton County who are left and there are only a few stop being in a serious state of denial, apathetic, indifferent, disinterested, dispassionate, detached, uninterested, removed, unconcerned, blase, unemotional, and ignorant about what is going on and happening in Clayton County which is not good and start to care, become outraged, displeased, and infuriated, and put all of these feelings into direct, forceful, powerful, energized, potent, and mighty action and hold all of Clayton County’s corrupt, crooked, deceitful, insincere, lying, double-dealing, two-faced, hypocritical, dishonest, underhanded, unprincipled, and treacherous elected officials accountable, answerable, responsible, liable, and culpable, only then will you see a positive change for the better in Clayton County.

Negros lack the mental capacity of the non-colored people. This is why Africa is in such misery. The truth is here in America, the black on black crime is just an extension of tribal warfare back in the African motherland. Back in Africa the coloreds adorn themselves with chicken feathers, boars teeth and diffrent colored mud. Here in America they do the same thing with bling, fake gold teeth and knock off designer clothing. The pecking order is based upon who has the most goats and chickens, here it’s based upon who has the flyest ride. Of course they have as many wives as they want over there and this is why they breed as they do without attempting to be a parent. So get off the back of the black man. They can’t help themselves. When you’ve hit the bottom - as was posted earlier, you have no where to go but up. That’s usually spoken about on a personal level. So many have already hit bottom and figure they’ll stay there because it doesn’t take any action on their part to be accountable for their actions.

Who, exactly, is in charge of Clayton County? The sheriff, the commissioner, the school board, the fire department, police department…who is in charge? When all of the new members of the board of education, the commissioners office, district attorney’s office, sheriff’s office were voted in, what did they do to improve what was left to them? If the former members of any of these organizations left their positions in shambles, what did the new guy do to fix and improve the position they are in, in order to gain control of their office, respect of their peers and members of the community? What did any of them do to improve the quality of life for the Citizens of Clayton County? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. They picked up where the others left off because it was in such poor shape to begin with - it would have taken imagination, many hours of man power, research, meetings…it was too much to handle. Clayton County needs a big renovation - but who is responsible? The person who actually owns the property, or the folks just renting it for a few months or so…when a citizen of this county has a problem, whether it be crime in their neighborhood, vandalism, truancy, any type of illegal activity, or someone that keeps cars up on blocks in their front yards, doesn’t cut their grass, won’t fix broken windows, etc…who do you go to? You call one place, they tell you to call another, then they say call another and eventually you end up where you started…no one wants to take responsibility.

I really want to know, who is in charge? Who is responsible for running Clayton County?

Well the cat is out the bag! Ole Sid Chapman has his hands on the school board again! Mary Baker is Chapman’s pawn. It has been confirmed! Also, Pam Anderson is with Chapman. People call your school board representatives and demand an ethics investigation into the two Chapman girls. They will keep CCPS from regaining accreditation! SACS has stated that the main reason it was revoked was because of outside influence from the CCEA & GAE organization. Chapman is the President of CCEA. The community must be proactive at this point or it will take 5 to 7 years before accreditation is restored, ACT NOW!

John Trotter is hot on the school board for sure. He is fighting for his financial future, not for anyone else. I mean after all, his organization is a “for profit organization”. That tells you you what he is after. The little wort Trotter needs to be removed from Clayton County School system for good. The other drunk board members should be removed immediately, and arrested if they show up drunk. (Give them an alcohol test)

SA, Rick and Hummm, John Stewart, Oh please, you say how much of the school board is blacks verses whites—that’s not the “Issue” that got accreditation taken/stolen. The “Issue” is how many whites ran up the SACS Elgart’s office screaming the black board members were taking their money by stopping the no-bid contracts they enjoyed for decades (read the SACS report). Yep that Uncle Tom Rod Johnson also ran to SACS, however he was paid by the whites to do it. It wasn’t about “Secret Meetings” or “Ethics”. Accreditation Loss was and still is about white folks and money. We blacks know that. Hell it even took the Feds to get Chick-fil-A hand out the school system cookie jar!!! How deep do you think the Chamber’s hands are in?

Clowns like Mr. Charlie ,John Stewart ,richman, Da Truth, all broke white folks. Oh, look at those sad destitute white folks crying on this blog. They were too dumb to grow and prosper like the upper 10% of the white folks. Now they are reduced to coming on this blog and scream obscenities about the poor little downtrodden Negro.

These pale folks have had all the advantages all their lives because of skin color “Alone” but couldn’t make it; now they are reduced to living in Clayton with poor little downtrodden Negro. Then they’d cry about what the poor little downtrodden Negro didn’t achieve in the 40 years since Equal/Civil Rights Act in 1968.

You’ve had over 600 years in this country to make it and couldn’t. Man, what a sad group of people. The Negro has achieved a lot in those 40 years. Of course a lot has fallen between the cracks. Due to discrimination, racism and institutionalization; but with FAITH the size of a mustard seed the poor little downtrodden Negro will overcome—join hands with them, we’ll bring you though too!

Most white people living in the country’s family emigrated during this century. However most blacks have been here for hundreds of years.

Funny how ethinic groups can come in, be the low rung on the ladder, and the next generation excels past the negro while the next ethnic group comes in while the negro languishes on the bottom.

It has nothing to do with skin color/appearance, the south americans are doing it right now, the came here and immediately passed the black on the social scale by working hard and getting educations.

Hell, we even have a black president, but of course he was raised and educated by whites.

You can harp all you want about the mexicans in the Clayton trailer parks, but I assure you, their kids will grow up and move out, while the black mans kids will never venture further than 20 miles away from Tara Blvd their entire life.

I don’t think any organization out there is offering teachers collective bargining. By state law, collective bargining is illegal for teachers. Our lawmakers are afraid to give teachers that kind of power, they just want to blame them when things go wrong. A major reason we are in the mess we are in, is that teachers don’t have a voice. Those states where teachers do have a voice, and collective bargining power to back it up, are running circles around Georgia in education.

The Republican white minority in Clayton was not happy with the 2000,2002,2004,2006 local elections, so they decided to do something about it in 2008. They all met in their churches and decided to unseat as many blacks as they could, but on their own, with their own vote they couldn’t do it. So, they recruited some Unscrupulous, unwitting, “Uncle Toms” Blacks to help them.

They paid these Unscrupulous, unwitting, “Uncle Toms” Blacks to run for offices; they knew they couldn’t win to dilute the black vote. Then they had own white republicans change parties to have a chance to win an election in a mostly Democratic County. In some cases they won, in some they lose. These whites pulled out all the stops; they spent over a million dollars to smear, degrade, lied about black elected officials using the Mass Media, Newspapers, TV and internet.

There was also concern about the Clayton county elections office corruption. However, in less than two year these Republicans “True Colors” will show and they’ll be “Voted Out”. The Blacks of the county has already “Black Balled” the Unscrupulous, unwitting, “Uncle Toms” Blacks. Now you know. Live and Learn. Happy New Year!!!!!

Now why would so many listen to the white man instead of those of their own race? I’ll tell you - they didn’t. They have minds of their own and saw what thousands of voters in this county saw - failure. And they needed to do something about it.

I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left. Clayton Whites often oppose a thing merely because they have had no agent in planning it, or because it may have been planned by those whom they dislike. However, now they have Pam Anderson and Mary Baker.

Now the whites is on another mission to run Thompson off and replace him with a “White Boy”. The whites in this county can’t stand a “Black Man” receiving that kind of salary. The white boy will instantly get accreditation back without doing anything, because there is “NOTHING” to do!

Whites keep your feet on the the “Black Children Necks” by holding their accreditation—their parents will see it your way, sooner or later!

The whole thing will be to hoodwink and bamboozle the black folk into having more Faith in the Whites and their politics. “Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.”

    To Master Visionary,

Where is the vision? If we continue to do the same things we get the same results! We can not just again take Thompson’s word that the mandates are satisfied. Remember his “buckets” of evidence last time which resulted in only one mandate being satisfied - rescidency- and he had nothing to do with that!

Thompson was hired to save accreditation and not seek the office on a permanent basis. He did not save our accredication. NOw he is still trying to make himself permanent when he has not proven he is worthy. He instead blamed it on race. Now that may work for some Blacks, but the majority will not be bamboozled by this race card he is trying to pull. Race does not have a damn thing to do with satisfying the mandates. He needs to focus on that and stop trying to fool us into keeping him on the job.

Now the new board needs to do what each of them claimed they would. Save Our Accrediation. We expect them to do that or ge there bags packed in two and four years from now. Or maybe we will have to do another recall.

The task before the board and Thompson is clear - satisfy the mandates. We need to make sure that SACS validates any progress Thompson and the Board claim to have made. If we do not do this, we will be faced with Thompson saying we lost our accreditation because we are Black. Just like he said this time!

Here are the facts Michael King board member is the Mace legal council, Darryl Jordan (State Rep) who sits on the BOE ethics commission is the Henry County President of MACE and a long time MACE member. Jessie Goree and Trina Garrett are MACE members and under control of John Trotter. If you think Trotter is gone, think again. If we fail to regain accreditation, they will be the reason why. If you recall, SACS pulled accreditation because of “outside Influences” they were speaking of John Trotter’s fake teachers union MACE.

First, I’d like to point out that most Section 8 people are elderly.

We have very low voter turn out. That proves there’s apathy in Clayco; which therefore leads to ineptness in our elected officials. Our schools are what they are because of lack of parental involvement; apathy. If we aren’t involved in our kids’ schools, much less in the BOE, we will reap what we sow. If we don’t care about the appearance of our roadways and businesses, we will reap what we sow.

We must take responsibility for our county on a personal level. Therefore, “The problems are mine in ‘09” seems like an apt phrase to adopt.

New faces in the sheriffs’ department and the courts are a start. Stronger leadership is needed at the county commission level and, as someone stated, a “professional” search needs to be under way now for a professional, caring superintendent of schools. J.Thompson is interim and should not be considered.

Accreditation was lost because we had a ghetto board of fools who belonged on Jerry Springer or the Bad Girls Club.

FYI the 52,000 kids who lost accreditation were not all black you azzclowns……therefore any white kids in the school system suffered also.

Diversity is good…the reason thigs are so bad on CC is because its ran by ALL blacks……..no matter how dumb, corrupt or incompetent they are. Look at Fayette, Henry..why are there school systems and counties for that matter so much better? Blacks attend there schools and so do whites…but its not a one sided HOT GHETTO MESS like CC is becoming

Thompson rode in here claiming to be the one to save our accreditation and when he failed he blamed it on the white people. If these firings were justified, all he’s done is given them a victim status they don’t deserve, with more hearings and more possible lawsuits on the way.

How much smarter it would have been to just announce that all Sheriff’s employees will have criminal background checks, as well as an evaluation of their performance and qualifications. Those who fail criminal background checks you can then fire with no controversy; the rest you put on a probation period to shape up or ship out. If they don’t shape up, at least you gave them a chance.

Here we go again!! I could’ve sworn Kembrough promised that his first day in office would be uneventful and he would not be firing anyone. He could have took a couple of weeks to weed out the garbage. A venter made mention of the cycle being complete once Victor is evicted from his house and arrested for misuse of county funds. Seems to me the cycle is just starting all over again. I met Kim personally on several occasions and always left feeling dirty. Kembrough is just as slimy as Hill!! Way to go, Clayton. You did it again!

As if anyone claim there weren’t distinct differences between the two firings. Please. But what he’s done, is create a perception that there might not be. What he’s done is given these employees a platform they don’t deserve.

If you don’t understand that how things are perceived can be as important as how things are in politics, then you don’t have a brain.

Even if one lawsuit is generated out of this, even if it’s tossed out of court, that’s still money, resources, and time spent that wouldn’t have had to be spent.

    January 2, 2009 12:29 PM | Link to this

Victor Hill’s hired thugs, intimidators, illegal appointee’s, regulators et al that has terrorized good citizens of Clayton County the past four years are either being invited to leave or are resigning. AJC reports 14 were dismissed on the first day; Martin (having been improperly hired outside of the civil service system) and Hobbs (criminal history). Thug Neely and Harget are reported to have resigned of their own volition today.

Good riddance. There is a real Sheriff in Clayton County now. One that upholds the ideal of “accountability”. Soon the actions of these misfits will come to light. Soon the criminality of the Hill regime will be fully exposed on top of the multi-million dollar lawsuits pending against the morally and finacial bankrupt Victor Hill.

Let it be known far and wide that the Clayton County Sheriff’s office, the outstanding deputies and staff are back to serve the citizenry of Clayton County and uphold the best in Law Enforcement tradition!

Even if this Hobbs guy is as bad as everyone claims, there’s a big difference in having been arrested and having been convicted. By stating that you fired this guy because of a criminal history, if in fact he has no convictions, you’ve just given this guy Hobbs a right to legitimately claim he was wrongfully terminated.

Plus if you were on the record as saying it would be an uneventful first day, with no mass firings, at the very least you’ve proven that you aren’t a man of your word.

    Not the best first impression.

Megan Mettucci (AJC) on Nov. 6 quotes the incoming sheriff as saying his first day in office will be boring. I sure hope he was correct in his assessment of these employees. Clay Co cannot afford any more c*.

Hopefull V. Hill will be in some sort of debtor’s prison so he can “work off” his debt to the citizens.

    Here We Go Again!

The new Sheriff of Clayton County Mr. Kimbrough walks into the sheriff’s office on the first day and we have drama, Jackass! Now, I have read that this brother was a well educated man, a family man, and reportedly a pretty good Christian Brother. What’s the deal? Apparently no warning was given to the employees! Oops up side your head and 14 people have lost their job. It will be interesting to see it Mr. Kimbrough has been tainted by that Clayton County stench, lapse of insanity, called stupidity and let’s see if he fired all black folks! I notice in the news paper article he said “Victor Hill hired outcasts, thugs and rejects from every agency,” Now how in the hell does he know that? The Sheriff is already using those code words most of us know like, thugs, outcast, and rejects! What’s wrong with this fool, does he not understand that those code words are often what people have associated to define black folks and he’s black or is he? If you don’t know your history you’re bound to repeat it! The big question in my mind whose definition he was relying on to make these determinations about these people character. If these people were hire in a legal fashion, and if that is true…, would not these individuals he fired have a right to the grievance system before they were fired? Like them red necks say “something about this dog…, just want hunt!” If this is true the brother should be recalled! This tic for tack BS should not be tolerated by him and no one else. Will there be an out rage in the county by those people who called for justice and the American way when Victor Hill had his lapse into insanity? Mr. Kimbrough doesn’t know what the rest of us have known for years? Do one stupid thing brother and they will call you forever stupid! Now are you Mr. Kimbrough that brother who defines himself to be part of that ancient group of people called “The master’s Super Negroes that can do no wrong!” I think you need to refer to Mr. Eldrin Bell to school you on the protocol for that group, he has been a long time chartered member! Birds of a feather flock together!

The people of Clayton County! How can your voices, be heard if you keep your mouths shut?

If there is one thing not to worry about in 2009 it’s accreditation. Word is, Elgart and SACS have already decided to restore it. No the board didn’t suddenly meet it’s mandates over the holidays. It’s just that yanking it has served it’s purpose. If Elgart doesn’t restore it, people will stop looking at how the board conducts business and start looking at how Elgart conducts business, a can of worms that neither Elgart or Sonny want opened up.

Rest easy, the decisions already been made, it just hasn’t been announced. They have to keep up the appearence that the board has done something to meet the mandates after all. But the mandates were written so subjectively, Elgart won’t have a problem saying they met them, regardless of what the board does. Plus word is Elgart is having too much fun watching Thompson and the board do tricks for him like his own personal circus animals.

By this time next year, no one will be talking about accreditation.

I think you people should allow the Sheriff to do his job and stop allowing the media to define how you view what is going on in our county. You said you wanted him to clean up Clayton…but now you want to recall him because he had to let some employees with questionable files and criminal histories go. I watched the news all day yesterday and the 12 o’clock segment was all positive and kudos for Kem. Then at 5 and 6, Fox 5 decided to go seek out the folks who were fired to start some drama and of course they found 2 suckers who fell for it. If you were just fired, what would you say/do? At 11 on WSB, Kem simply explained why he had to let those folks go. Based on insiders and news coverage from yesterday, all of those who were fired were handled professionally with dignity and respect. Furthermore, all newly elected sheriffs demote, promote and terminate on their first day prior to swearing in. They have to to ensure they are able to implement the plans that they campaigned on. Our sheriffs firings made the news because of what our last idiot sheriff did. Kem said on the 12 o’clock segment that all of the employees can reapply once they were up to snuff. He always used the words integrity, accountability, and honor. Again, you are comparing him to Victor because that is what the media wanted you to do because they referred to Victor in every segment. I’m glad that he is wasting no time deweeding the department. I am feeling safer already. Please stop drawing conclusions without ALL of the facts. Kem, thanks for doing what’s right instead of what’s percieved as right.

Here is what I found from another blogging site by another blogger that seems to know the Law more than most of us on here.

Hobbs was arrested and charged with domestic violence and placed on probation, which means he was convicted. He’s was driving Victor around and also carring a gun. Victor knowingly let a subject who was violated federal law carry a weapon. Victor needs to be arrested for that.

Possession of Firearm After Conviction of Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9) As of September 30, 1996, it is illegal to possess a firearm after conviction of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. This prohibition applies to persons convicted of such misdemeanors at any time, even if the conviction occurred prior to the new law’s effective date. A qualifying misdemeanor domestic violence crime must have as an element the use or attempted use of physical force or the threatened use of a deadly weapon. For example, a conviction for a misdemeanor violation of a protection order will not qualify, even if the violation was committed by a violent act, if the statute does not require the use or attempted use of physical force or the threatened use of a deadly weapon. The U. S. Attorney’s Office can determine which misdemeanor convictions qualify.

The point is, by doing it on the first day, after saying it would be an uneventful first day, is that he couldn’t help but draw comparisons to Walking Small.

If he doesn’t get that, and doesn’t get the role of perception in building the public trust, that’s not a good sign.

Doesn’t mean he’s Walking Small, but right now he’s Walking Controversy when he could have been Walking Tall.

Word has it that he will rehire the majority of the people that were fired by Hill. Lets keep our eyes open. Right now from where I sit he is one of those Negros put in place by the white status quo. The person who posted that teachers love Thompson sure told a lie. He is causing more problems than he ever could solve. The sooner he leaves, the better the moral of our school system. Let’s see what happens Jan 05 at the HS.

Just watch as this BOE (which is as bad as the last) extends his contract at the Jan BOE meeting. Kiss Accreditation good bye because that does not meet the requirements.

Do we really have a functioning BOE when we have all those Trotter people again?

I am also a taxpayer and voter, and am very disappointed in what is going on in the school system.

The comment about seeing young men all dressed in the same color and all that posting about gangs. That could be most any teacher HS classroom. Look for your self if you don’t believe it.
